Over all good experience for kids and adults

Pitch needs some sort of drainage or pitch to be slightly pitched for water run off away from pitches

Very impressed by this location and services provided. Very cheap for these facilities.

Showers could have lasted a bit longer before they switched off , having to keep pressing them to start again

The pitches were big enough to not interfere with neighbours , I didn't use the park facilities but if I had young children I certainly would . I also only used my own facilities in the motorhome so didn't see the toilets or showers

The ruts in the grass that filled up with water whenever it rained

First time on Withernsea sands and can honestly say I really enjoyed it would recommend if your looking for a relaxing time this is the place to go

How close the beach was,the amenities and the surrounding area.

The bluebell tent area had poor drainage. The weather wasn't great (rain) and our tent and surrounding pitches held the dirty water fir days, making it difficult to go toilet,shower and pot wash difficult.

Multi use sport pitch is great for the kids. There is a pool - free for general swimming, although you have to book 6 weeks in advance or turn up 15 minutes before the hour session to see if there’s spaces available. Amusements were great for younger kids, although some of the machines i.e car racing game needs some maintenance work, (pedals didn’t work great & kept swallowing £1 coins)

As soon as we pulled up on tent field the grass was long & not taken care of in comparison to other sites, pitch sizes are tiny, cigarette butts all over field. Toilets & shower block are disgraceful, shower rooms are tiny & not enough space to get dressed after your shower, kids got everything soaking as the cubicle is so small, your basically standing in shower area which is wet to get dried & dressed. No sinks for getting washed & brushing teeth have to use sinks (only 3) where people are washing their hands after using the loo. Faeces smeared up wall in toilet cubicle, in Men’s my son (12) went for a wee & slipped infront of urinals due to the amount of pee on the floor covering him in other peoples urine, he then had to try shower in the tiny cubicle.
The smell in the toilets were awful, smelt like mould & foisty washing. Main areas seemed tidy. The bar area is fine, although expensive, £17 for 4 cokes & £4.50 for a ramekin of chips. Unfortunately booked for 6 nights left after 2 nights. After 8 years of camping we’ve never had an issue until now. It’s a shame because with a little love this could be a great campsite.
