Fantastic views, secluded and feels like a proper camping experience. It was busy but we had our own privacy. There are midges so take spray. Toilets better then expected, didn’t mind no shower as only stayed one night. There was a problem with toilets in morning and they came straight away to fix this. Some campers playing loud music, owner came quickly and asked them to turn it down which was good as is advertised as quiet camp. Would stay again and bring children.

Not owners fault- we loved the sheep walking round, we did see a group of children aged 8+ chasing the sheep round and bothering them and the parents of the kids nowhere to be seen, it goes without saying not to harass the animals but apparently some people need reminding

Great area, fun to sleep around the sheep, closeby to a small brook.

Lots of poop on the fields, loads of mosquitos (couldn't eat outside because of it and the host was not welcoming at all, seemed very busy and uninterested.

Lovely quiet setting, only stayed 1 night with my son but will be back soon.

Toilets could be better? The only slight complaint but for the money you pay its a no brainer

This was one of the best closest to wild camping camp sites we pitched in, having sheep roaming around was funny and a challenge trying to avoid stepping in their sheee 🤣🤣 camped near the far end of the property felt remote, peaceful, enjoyed being close but not too close to the river because midges were crazy anyway due to warm weather but you can buy bug nets at the farmhouse, facilities maintained daily, can't wait for the showers to be fully built 😁 looking forward to spend a whole week there 😏, if you're lucky you might see the fighter jets 😎🫡, nice hosts, great value for money overall a very nice experience and will definitely visit again 😁

Semi wild, just toilets and drinking water. Setting by the river. Out of the way but not too far to ride into a town.

Owner was lovely and friendly. We were very close to closing time so we rang ahead and she was lovely. When we arrived she was welcoming and helpful. Beautiful place with sheep grazing next to our van. Lovely.

The most beautiful site we’ve ever stayed at! Stunning views all round and we loved sharing the site with the sheep. Very quiet and peaceful and really loved the simple, stripped back nature of the place. We will definitely be returning - please don’t ever change this site, it’s perfect as it is!

Currently no showers but they were in the process of being built while we were there.
