Nice campsite, clean & some staff are friendly

Field 4 is a wind trap, pitches are nice but if you’ve got big tent not much outside space with vehicle parked there too, little one was upset as couldn’t play basket ball as hoop was on grass so couldn’t bounce ball, family showers you need 50p for which doesn’t say beforehand & no cash machine working on site for arcades & family shower rooms, paid for WiFi & it was absolutely shocking where we stayed in field 4

brilliant activities swimming golf horse riding lovely big campsite kids riding around good parks lots of food places and shop brilliant entertainment overall 10/10

only downside is dryer took two coins to dry and reception was shut so had to wash and dry again :(

The pitch was massive, great spot, reception very helpful, great shop and pizza on site was nice.

The bathroom and washing up area seemed grubber than last year, the toilets were not nice by 5pm. The family changing area needs a shower as fitting in a cubical with a 2 year old was not easy. Electric scooters whizzing around fast.

First time for us here. Very very nice camping site. Very big toilet block and clean. Hot shower. Nice summing pool and hot. I really enjoyed to stay here.

Lovely grounds, plenty for children to do, nice food (even tho abit pricey) great dog exercise areas. Very nice helpfull staff.

Showers weren't very warm and washer and dryer was very pricey.

The location was good central to loads of places to visit

We was on the wrong pitch under trees so when it rained in the night the dripping from the trees kept us awake all night
We have no children but put with 6/7 families with 2/3 children each why can't families be together and non families be together

Lots of facilities, takeaways that can be eaten in the bars, pitch size, entertainment, toilets, showers and laundrettes on every field. Very tidy and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.

Lack of Internet. You can pay for Internet or go to the bar to get signal.

The lack of constructive communication from staff
We arrived for our 3 day booking on Sunday 11th August.

We were on schedule to get to you before the close of reception at 5pm but were held back due to a road closure on the A39 following an accident.

We rang reception to inform that we would be late and we were told that we had pitch 72.
On arrival we found that pitch 72 was a grass pitch and not hard standing as was booked.
Because of this and the fact that there was no one to contact we decided to pitch up on a hard standing pitch near to 72 being 63.

We set up our wind breaks then the following day on Monday the 12th we left camp site for the day in our motorhome.
On return at gone 6pm we were startled to find that our wind breaks had been stolen.
I was aware they have security aids along with security guards that were seen walking around the site. Because so I would enquired by email if they have any information on the stolen wind breaks as they were only purchased last year.
I never received a responce despite being aware that a neighbouring caravaner informing me that refuge staff had had pulled out the wind breaks when i had left in motorhome for the day and put them on back of their refuge trailer for disposal

We decided not to stay our last night there..

Very good site, very clean staff very helpful okay, not too far to visit places close to camp site

Great amenities and clean park. Clean showers and toilets. Pool was also clean.

Bad experience with the food from the fish and chip shop, but rectified the next day at reception with a refund.

Really bad phone reception
