The park was well kept clean and tidy, pitch was a good size and debri free, and close to all the facilities needed for our stay. The washroom were very clean and tidy with plenty of hot water for showering not like a few sites we have been to.they were closed for 11/2 hr whilst being cleaned but no shortage of other washrooms to use. Staff at the shop and the chippy were very pleasant and knowledgeable about the local area, i would use this site again, in fact me and my sons are planning to book a stay next year,

we are a close family of 14, I would also like to bring the grandchildren to this site seeing how child friendly it is

We arrived about 20.01 on friday night because of work commitments and traffic and unfortunately the chip shop was closed due to the fact they had ran out of chips,
This is very petty but it's the only thing I could say

Kids loved the park swimming was a bit disappointing no inflatable etc! Gutted the amimals have now gone and the pub didn’t serve food anymore

Drinking water tasted horrible had no big bottles of water in the shop

Location was nice, bar was nice, the burger bar was nice too.

Well, the biggest thing is the toilets/showers, for the love of God put a divider up between them! nobody wants to be doing their ablutions next to somebody ripping a three day meat grease grumpy! Brushing your teeth with the hanging poo particulate hitting your sick trigger is not smashing at all! A divider won't cost much.

The cafe was advertised as open, it has been closed for some time. Not that big of a deal but still...

Tent pitches were on a hill, caravans can adjust so they are level, the tent pitches should be reserved for level ground.

We asked for "a nice quiet spot" we were harassed by kids with BB guns for 5 days, until we lost our patience and shouted to "f**k off with the guns". The staff should be monitoring behaviour.

Would we return? no, no we would not, not to say we had a horrible time, we have just learned what we want, and Stowford park don't provide it.

Well laid out pitches with ample space.

Pitch was very steeply sloping, our ramps were not sufficient to level our motorhome.
The on site signage is poor and had to ask directions several times.

We liked every thing about the site and the toilets and showers were immaculate well done to the staff as well keep up the good work and we will see you soon

Great park. Lovely and clean. Toilet/shower blocks were clean with nice hot showers. Site is massive. We stayed in field two the pitch side was excellent. EHU was close to pitch. There quite a few kids parks dotted about the site. We didn't try the onsite pizza and burger bars, must say pizza looked very nice and was very popular.
Bar was nice size drinks prices were about average. There was a good selection hot/cold drinks available.
We checked out the kids entertainment we had Devon science the younger one enjoyed but my older one not so much.
The pool a nice size but not very deep. The on site horse riding was fabulous not over priced too. My little girl loved it. The staff were super cool with the kids and very helpful. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. In all was great site.

Only things we found that we could say was. The pool does charge to go swimming £3.75 for 1hr per person. You have to book a slot. If like my kids they want to swim every day for me that would be £78.75 for 3 of us to swim for a week stay ouch 😱 . We went last week of school holidays. The on site chip shop was closed all week so was the café. Shame as we would liked a cream tea. The arcade was also closed. I know it's not end of the world but my kids do like ago on the 2p machine if they had any.
Last thing the drinking water taste like pool water so I suggested buying bottle water to drink.

Like the fact that everything was very close,we were about the middle of the site but cycled all over the site and everything was in reach.
Kids love the parks, play areas etc.
The toilets were very clean and the site felt very safe.
The kids went off on their own for a while and I wasn't worried at all.

This site has changed dramatically in the last year under new ownership. Sadly these changes have not been for the better. We wish that Pitch had been updates with the changes but sadly it has not. There is no Petorama they have built an arcade which was not open this season. There is no carvery or the onsite food vans there used to be. Just expensive pizzas and a standard burger van. The cafe was closed as was the chip shop. The onsite shop was always empty and the caravan shop is being run down on stock. Field 3 and 2 are leave a lot to be desired and it appears they only now care about static clientele. It used to be a great family site but now you’re welcomed to the entertainment by security guards that treat you like you’re drunk in a city. Oh and wifi is £6 a day and doesn’t work.
