Good value nice site

Problem with the Showers no hot water in block 2 but fine in the other blocks (take your own toilet paper as they often ran out)

Pitches were a great size and all well kept. A lovely site in beautiful surroundings.

Only that our pitch was under a street light which was on all night, would have liked this to have been a bit dimmer overnight, but not a massive issue

Clean site with good sized level pitches .
This is our third and last time here as it is now a very expensive site for what it now offers .

The fact that the site has got rid of most of it facilities that we have seen on previous trips here.
The food outlets, camping shop , entertainment options and the shop is now half the size

Good size fully serviced pitch.
Shower block was clean
Nice dog walk but a bit far if you have an older dog

River walk was overgrown and easy to miss your footing.
Bar was expensive. Only went there to get the wifi.
No mobile coverage so couldn’t tell when bar or shop was open as we had no welcome pack which is unusual, cut backs I guess?
Bought WiFi but this was poor
If you want to use the pool it’s extra cost
Site is a bit remote.
So quiet and it was pretty empty. Very surprised. Not particularly friendly either.
I think it may had been staff pitched close by who never even said hello.
Won’t be returning.

My child hood campsite.....Just had to return......now an adult...

Lots of change........more static homes.

Site still lovely....

Ground immaculate......toilets & showers spotless......staff very friendly.....

Had meal in Pub.......was absolutely delicious......but a tad expensive......

Not on a Bus route........so Taxi into Ilfracombe nearly £40 return journey.....

Site very slopping......Motorhome on highest wheel levelling ramps

Had to buy WiFi on a daily basis

Size of pitch, and the campsite was clean and tidy

Shower block, man’s showers could be better, some sensors where temperamental and most had cold water.

Clean and tidy site with large pitches. Plenty of facility blocks situated throughout the site. Friendly and helpful staff. Onsite security.

Food only served at bar for evening meals. Pool very basic and not included in pitch fees as it is in other sites we have visited. Hookup’s could can be quite far from pitch (long leads required)

Staff were friendly, pitches were nice and big, park was clean, food was nice.

Showers were not great. Sometimes smelly, and not powerful. You either had hot or cold, no in between for the younger ones.
