It's a very well-looked-after site: the shower/toilet facilities are warm, clean and more than adequate. The staff are all really friendly. No vehicles by pitches which makes for a nice quiet and uncluttered experience. I like it so much I have another stay already booked. Ideally for running, walking and general exploring of a very nice part of the Peak.

I'd have happily used a ground tent though. The location is gorgeous with 360 views and perfectly situated for fell running / hill walking trips (and the local pub of course). My mobile signal (o2) is terrible in the valley, but the sites free wifi worked perfectly and could get it up the field in the tent too.
