Not as many water refil stations as I'd haved liked
One of ladies showers was scalding hot and couldn't turn down

Nothing at all

Awful. Rubbish, old bikes, scrap etc. was dumped on one pitch. Other pitches looked uncared for. It looked like a traveller site. We did not feel safe. Didnt even bother to unpack the car,

So much noise at night (after 11pm) and disrespectful other campers, 2am the music stopped one night.

It was great to be able to choose our pitch and be near friends

The lakes were beautiful to walk around in an evening. The site was well kept, there were ample loos , clean showers and a good washing up area.

There is a bird scarer machine that makes a noise like a loud shotgun. It starts early, 5am early, so it woke us all up both mornings.

It would also be good if the site had a quiet after a certain time rule. We had really noisy neighbours who were up playing loud music and kids playing football with head torches around the tents until the early hours. One of the kids fell into our tent at gone 1am in the morning.

Not the sites fault but another neighbour had a problem with their carbon monoxide alarm, in that it wouldn't turn off, so they threw it out of their caravan to just behind our tent at around 6am.

So between the shotgun, the late night football, music and the carbon monoxide alarm we didn't really sleep. I'm still very tired after 2 poor night's sleep is probably a bit grumpy writing this.

Lovely views and walk near lakes. Very busy site.

A lot of long term caravans mixed in with other pitches. Could be noisy at times. Each plot not very well marked out and had drive around to find last spot with hook up in a corner.

The camp site had some lovely views of the lakes and is an ideal place for people that like to fish.
Staff are friendly and helped us with an extended electric lead.

Loud music until around 2am from other campers, children playing on our pitch outside our caravan door and kicking footballs at our caravan, mostly shouting and screaming outside our caravan until gone midnight which upset our dog and it wasn’t a chilled night! Very uncomfortable stay. Also saw children sitting on other people caravans steps, which I thought was disrespectful. Needs a warden at night to control the noise.
