Spacious, friendly staff. Good links to the motorway. Nice walk around the area.

We left at 5am , 2 days areas as there was noise cannon on site. We where not told this, our dog was terrified

Shower rooms need better air vents as mild is growing on ceiling

Showers and toilets were very clean. Lovely clean food at the cafe. Pitches were a great size. Loved that it was dog friendly. Just a shame can’t take the dog down to the lake where partner was fishing so was stuck at the tent whilst he was fishing.

Opted for a site with a bar as we were travelling after work Friday snd wanted to relax with a few beers before fishing the next day and this stated it had one so we chose to book, but told when arrived the bar had been closed about a year, also pitch up advise check in anytime but its actually 2pm onwards and have to be there before a certain time or will be locked out the gates if very late arriving same with check out pitch up says 11 but makins email to say before 10 am just abit misleading from both sides but such a lovely place overall

Lovely country side very friendly people also the staff bailiff Ron top bloke recommended it to anyone 👍

Toilets and showers were great cafe on site selling breakfast was great

Only thing I disliked is the fact I couldn’t get in the gates at 10pm because the receptionist didn’t put my number plate on the ampr system I asked her in the morning and explained I’d be late back to the site. The phone number on the gate no one was answering luckily after 20 minutes someone was leaving the site so managed to gain entry

Not such a dislike bit would be nice to let people walk dogs around the fishing lake if there is no one fishing

Beautiful lakes, beautiful walks, lovely cafe, felt very safe, showers were lovely

Not the sites fault, but dirty people leaving the toilet blocks in a mess
No hot food served after 4pm, so meant had to go out or order takeaway, not really a big deal, but just preparing other guests if they don't know this 👍
