Nice lakes and walks nearby. Toilets were reasonable and warm in the winter. The pitches were well laid out and generally flat.

The site was generally run down with little sign of good site management, which is a shame because correctly managed it could be a lovely site. Large potholes even though they had piles of hardcore material that could be used to fill them. The electrical hookups were mostly not working and in very poor or dangerous condition. The site should be shutdown whilst repairs are made. Live wires are literally exposed, whilst children run around playing and uneducated adults attempt to hookup their power leads to find a pitch that actually has power. I witnessed this on a daily basis, people setting up and then having to move to another pitch to find power. When we enquired about the problems we were told that the management team were on holiday and the site was closed, but they were taking bookings and people turning up daily to encounter the same issues. Regardless of any excuses, the exposed wiring could lead to a fatality.

Absolutely beautiful, facilities were spotless, my wife and grandchildren loved the walks around the lakes will definitely be coming back.

Show/toilets fantastic. Best shower I've been in on a campsite how can any one moan about them? Laura was fantastic messaging us before we arrived and responding when we asked if we could overstay in the morning by a hour and half. Absolutely no problem. Don't read and believe all reviews, will come again when we are in the area!

Orribile experience. We arrived there 1 hour ish before the deadline for arrival. Noone was at the reception. We have tried to call the number.. I tried 5 tomes for 2 hours but noone answered. I have texted them on WhatsApp and noone opened my messages. Is being 2 days and i still did not receive any response. We parked in a random spot to try to look for someone and explore the area to discover the lady toilet was closed, only the toilet for disable was open and was in a disgusting condition with the sink blocked and no warm water. We were with a child and we ended up sleeping with 2 °C, no shower and no electricity.

Nice wide pitches, easy access to hook ups and water. Elsan point is clean and easy to use. Warm toilet blocks.

Someone did end up parking in our pitch but that can’t be help. Was enough pitches to go around anyways.

Where to start? Firstly, this isn't a "campsite" its a car park.

The site seems to push the lodges and the campsite is an afterthought because we're only campers, we'll put up with anything, right?

The site is littered with potholes (once you're past the nice lodges of course). If you manage to make it to the riff-raff area/carpark you'll be greeted with facilities which haven't been cleaned since they were built, about 20 years ago.

The outside "washing up" sink was a tragedy. There was old food, washing up bottles, mouldy sponges from campers from what seemed like weeks ago. Litter everywhere in this area. I comically walked over for the first day with my washing up and the disaster of a sink area could only make me laugh. So we ended up washing on the campervan for the week.

The showers, I'd like to say are a little better. The cubicles are quite big and they aren't push button showers, however, as with everywhere else on the "site" they were dirty & scummy.

If I were to sum up the site, my advice would be, save your money, camp in a bus stop and wash in a puddle. You'll be happier for it.

Liked that a few pitches had been redone and few redone signs witch is nice look much better on there

My strongest dislike is the toilets I had the shock of my life when I walked in ….

We come a few months ago so I was really surprised to see the state of the toilets as a cleaner myself this has been left for weeks even likely longer ..this stuff don’t grow overnight

One thing I thought was bad was they was a used razor left on the side with hairs on starting to all funny yet it’s rather dangerous considering children also use them they could of took it and cut themselves with this ….

The mouldy shower is getting out of hand when we come start of the season it wasn’t as bad but now we been twice then end of season it’s way out of hand you got paint falling off the celling that looks like it’s caving in half

£1 mould spay and repaint would look good as new but instead it’s left to grow in to black mould that can be dangerous if left untreated can make people ill ….

Nice to see they spent some money on the site but you could also give the toilet some diy and it’s would be a lot of people in as lot of people use toilet blocks then using there own but my days I wouldn’t dare sit down in there

Big site, lakes were gorgeous! Perfect for any fishing holiday.
Lots of toilets and two showers for each male and female block. Very powerful shower which was lovely!

Felt it was not the cleanest for not having many people on site, but still nice.
Motorway is close and can hear it a lot.
