- welcoming staff on arrival
- friendly and helpful staff who suggested our non-EHU friends could pitch their tent on our EHU pitch if their tent fitted.
- lakes are pretty
- location was convenient for us
- toilet block was clean and in good condition
- great pizza truck on Friday night

- road noise from M69, it runs very close by. It was windy on our stay which will have increased noise carried into the site
- confusing rules on big signs vs actual rules - i.e. “gas BBQs only” - yet the site hire out fire pits, a “dog exercise field” that doesn’t really exist - the ‘sort-of-field’ is a long walk off site, “no dogs allowed around the lakes” - but they are allowed after 6pm.
- pitches on the touring field have no boundaries and people walk through your pitch. Resulting in unsupervised kids running feral and screaming as they run through.
- an EHU issue was reported and not fixed for over 24 hours.
- the relaxed attitude to pitching and lack of boundaries means that there are some very big groups pitching together.
- quiet hours (10pm) not properly observed although the noisy group near us did go quiet at 11pm.

Open large pitches, fully serviced and clean modern toilets and showers also great cafe on site.

Pitch was good toilets and showers not bad. Fishing was good even in the heat .

Dogs running around off leads and fighting. Using paths around the lakes as toilet and exercise yards .
The constant smell of drugs being smoked around lakes and site not good and fires at night when temperatures in exsess of 20 degrees we had to keep motorhome window and doors shut at night

Huge amount of space and elegant fishing areas. Proper cuppa in the cafe.

Nice and easy book, turn up and check in no issues - your left to your own devices which is nice , chilled atmosphere

Poorly maintained - other than a pitch what are we paying for ? For the effort they put in I’d say it was a poor price , facilities were in very poor condition, left nothing but a squeege to ‘clean’ shower rooms , however there isn’t adequate drainage floors are left in puddles and dirty . They have toilet check sheets there , apparently checked 3 times a day , we arrived Friday just after 4pm …. Toilet check sheet had not been signed by the time we left on Sunday at 11am … which showed as there were no toilet roll in men’s or ladies by Sunday . When I booked there were no electrical hookups available however there were many empty electrical hookup pitches available when walking around . I’d say either lower your price or put more effort in these areas. You can hear cars from road at night too , wasn’t awful but it was there , had 3 toddlers with us and they didn’t seem to like it but slept eventually anyway

Beautiful campsite with all the lakes, great sized pitches and great little cafe. Very peaceful.

The toilets were not well cleaned and not cleaned regularly enough. The wash up area was also left rather filthy most of the time but that will be due to fellow campers. A suggestion is thst staff regularly clean that area too.

If the toilet block and wash area were regularly cleaned ans upped there standard, this would be an excellent campsite.
