Spacious site with good shower and toilet facilities.

Used as a stopnoff on route to south west from north east.

Friendly welcoming staff.

Goose poo but its not a issue just need to ensure not dragged in to accommodation.
The hard standing pitches have tiny stones which are dragged in to caravans easily.

This place was a convenient location to meet up with friends. We were allowed to pitch up together despite our different bookings.
At the time, we had clean toilets and shower blocks. Nice touch that the water block was warm.
The bin areas were clear and clean.
Perfect for larger groups as pitches are spaces.

Not everyone was happy to read the sign and close the door on the water block; perhaps a self-closing door would easily solve the problem and save energy, too.
No clear boundaries to the pitches, which later on in the evening resulted in asking a group of children to stop running around, as we had a sensitive dog with us. We understand it is not an adult-only site; however, this has interrupted our peace.
The downside to the large pitches is that larger groups naturally get noisy.
M69 is close by and, depending on the wind, it is noticeable. (take earplugs)

Loved it - thank you so much. We had three pitches on the non-electric field.
Yes the motorway was noisy, but we could see on the map it was next to the M69 before we booked. This didn’t spoil the lovely location.

Toilets were a bit of a walk but ALWAYS clean on every occasion.

Tap for water didn’t work on the camping field so we had to keep using a tap on the electric field.

Cafe was closed on the two days we visited 🥲.

The staff were extremely helpful and approachable. Toilet/shower blocks very nicely kept and clean. Pitches are generously sized.

Although I understand that there are geese etc, the amount of goose poo was ridiculous. I spent the first two hours collecting 5 dog poo bags up from the pitch so our dog wouldn’t roll in it/eat it.

Firstly the roads up to the site and the site entrance are fantastic. Nice feel for security with very nice strong entrance gates. Pitch size was perfect and to have the water tap so close on each pitch was brilliant no long walks to fill up water barrels. Bins and toilet facilities nice a close and to a high standard, clean and tidy.

Only thing that could have made the stay better would be a later departure time. Getting organised and packed away for 10am woth 3 kids was difficult and a rush.

Plenty of space to pitch up, choose your own pitch, great for kids

Ground was solid, we broke a mallet trying to put up our tent - then struggled to pull the pegs out when leaving.
Toilets could do with checking more regularly, no hand wash available
