The location, how private the Mega Pod felt, the cleanliness and friendly nature of staff. They made us feel very welcome.

All of the staff here are friendly and helpful. This is definitely one thing that made our stay fantastic, rather than simply good. We also really liked the location, being walking distance from Tavistock and also on the moor. Had two great walks straight from the campsite in our short stay here. Dogs are allowed (on leads).
Shower/toilet facilities are immaculate with plenty of hot water and showers are included in the price. There are equally immaculate facilities to clean your pots and plates and also your clothes. Tent pitches are large. Loved the little on site shop and we took advantage of the warm croissants, pain au chocolate and baguettes that are available each morning. Delicious! We also had a meal in the evening, which was decent pub grub reasonably priced. I had beer battered cod and chips and my husband had ham and eggs.

The site was so quiet and peaceful and an easy walk to the moor.
Spacious pitches. Good toilet and washing facilities. Nice shop and restaurant Plus all the people working there were lovely, welcoming and friendly.
I can't recommend this site enough, although I don't want to as it is now my secret runaway ;)
I cannot comment on child friendliness or accommodation as we stayed in our own caravan and our children are grown up. Very dog friendly though, even have spare poo bags on the gate on the way out.

Everything! The cleanliness of all facilities was outstanding.....sparklingly clean taps, sinks and plugs in shower blocks and washing-up room. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The views from the site were stunning and there was absolutely no road noise; just the sound of the birds to wake up to....bliss! The onsite restaurant served top notch home cooked food with a takeaway option and it was great to have the option of a drink at the bar as well. For walkers and bird watchers as we are this site is ideal as we were able to walk straight out onto Dartmoor and over a 5 night stay we didn't need to drive anywhere....perfect!

The water for the showers could have been a little hotter.

Lovely big, secluded pitch with great views. Immaculate toilet, shower, dish washing and laundry facilities. Super helpful staff who accommodated our last minute changes and lack of stationery with a smile and good humour. Great access to the moor, lots of fabulous walks on the doorstep. Far exceeded our expectations!

It’s always clean and well maintained and they have everything you could want right at the gateway to the stunning Dartmoor national park I keep booking to go back I love it that much

Only thing that lets it down is the WiFi is expensive when most places include it in the price

It was a great small site that was quiet, friendly, and with lovely clean facilities. Fantastic with young kids as there was very little traffic in/out of the site.
