Lovely campsite, a warm welcome and clear guidance for our stay and walking trip. We had a great pitch. Facilities clean and absolutely no problems during our stay. We ate at the restaurant both nights of our stay as we enjoyed it so much and wanted to make the most of our short stay.

Very warm welcome. Took the time to walk me around to show me where things were. Facilities were immaculate and well maintained. Pitch was a good size with a lovely view with the bonus of a sunset. As for the restaurant. Food was fantastic! I had the gammon steak and sticky toffee pudding. Great attention to detail. Even offered the choice of ambient temperature, or cold beer, which is great for a real ale drinker. Would definitely recommend this place.

What a wonderful place! I was warmly greeted and shown to my pitch, the staff here are so polite and friendly you will feel incredibly welcome. The pitch was a great size and came with a picnic bench which I can imagine is perfect for the warmer months.
The nearby Tor is so close and a beautiful, easy walk from the campsite even in the rain.
Their facilities are spotlessly clean, the showers hot and spacious with plenty of hooks and shelves for your stuff, all of which are a comfortable distance from the pitch.
I will be returning next year for SURE!

The location was amazing. It was quiet when we were there but the pitches were nicely spaced out and we had a fantastic view of Pew Tor. The facilities were well appointed and wonderfully clean.

Friendly welcome, loved the site. Easy stroll up the lane on to the amazing moors to walk with the dog. Very impressed how the site blended in to the surroundings, probably taken years of work. Big pitch that felt really peaceful and private. Bar / restaurant staff were great too. Splendid site.

Friendly welcome. Excellent pitch with a view of the moors. Extremely clean and warm shower/toilet facilities. We didn't use the restaurant, but it looked inviting.

Very welcoming and informative. Site neat and tidy. Toilet/shower block clean. Good utilities. Would stay again and would highly recommend.

Heating not on in shower area so cold getting out of the shower in October

Wonderful location. Friendly informative welcome. The facilities were spotless and of a really high standard. Great to straight out on foot to open woodland. A really classy site with various options to stay. Very, very good.

Lovely welcome on arrival at reception, personally shown to our pitch, just what we had requested so we were well pleased.
We wanted walking from our van as we like to stay in situ, this site offered walking onto Dartmoor and into the market town of Tavistock.
The Manor Restaurant which is only open from 6pm offers eat in or takeaway food, the menu offers lots of choices and we ate here both our nights and the food was really good, best food we've had on a campsite and lovely staff.
Facilities were top notch too, we can't wait to come back.
