The kitchen shed was very well equipped and clean. The shower room was also good but when we stayed there were only two other parties and so if busy expect a long wait to use it as there was just the one.
Pitch size was ok.

Pretty Fenland setting with good views of the fields and customary big skies. Plenty of toilets, showers and wash facilities at both ends of the site. The site is well kept and we loved waking our dog around the lakes. A perfect place if you like camping and fishing.

My fault but we scorched the grass near the pitch with our raised BBQ. I don’t think I put sufficient protection down. Please let me know if there’s a charge.

Great Site. Located in the middle of nowhere, so take supplies with you!

Facilities were clean and tidy. Site was empty apart from us and a caravan.

Large site, well laid out.

Great peaceful site. Easy to find. Fishing was brilliant and really close to the site.

Amenities could do with some work. All of the showers leaked/didn’t drain properly.

The passcode/key lock system needs some work, my daughter got locked in as there was no key to unlock, it was already unlocked then she went to use the toilet. Int he mean time someone else and out who had the key and locked up.

The fishing lakes were great. Views over the fields at sunset were oovwly

Only 1 washing up facility at the other end of the camp site, shower and toilet area were a bit run down. And the site was very open to the elements. It was very windy when we stayed and quite unpleasant

Peacefulness, pitch sizes, great fishing.

No one ever in reception.

Toilets very clean , very quiet after 10pm , Access to lakes very easy , no issues at all , highly recommend

Gorgeous views of the sunset. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again for a spot of fishing. Beautiful views of the farmland nearby. Very clean and tidy on the campsite.

Had a lovely stay at Head Fen, feels like you are in the middle of nowhere but a 10 min drive to the nearest supermarket and close to so many lovely towns a short drive away. Ideal for us, well organised, great facilities (fridge,freezer,indoor washing up area, washing machines). Beautiful area, very peaceful and lots to explore nearby.

Nothing massively stands out as negative. A few dogs were off lead and a little disruptive but this is no fault of site management.

The location was beautiful, the facilities were beyond expectations.
Owners were friendly and we will definitely be coming back!
