Lovely location. Very nice and quiet. Good facilities. Although reception wasn’t open, and we didn’t know where to go once on site, it is well signposted and we were able to speak to someone on the mobile number provided.

Basic but lovely, will definately be returning.

We quite fancied a fire pit but reception was closed all weekend so unable to purchase firewood.

Lovely open space, not regimented like some sites, hot showers! Would be great to add some hardstanding pitches, we would then return in the wetter, winter months!

The road in! It's very bumpy, not the campsites fault, but for anyone booking, go slow!

Well managed, clean toylets.

The ground was quite uneven, had to find place to pitch tent where good to sleep on the floor.

Lovely n peaceful and excellent fishing one of the best. Only concern could not get any logs to burn on site as know one about but we got some from farm up road

Peaceful place, lovely small fishing lakes surrounding all pitches.
Good amount of toilets and showers but would be good to add mirrors and a chair in the wooden bathroom unit. Only one bathroom had a mirror and when taking shower in small bathroom nowhere to put your stuff, except tiny hanger.
Would be lovely to have option to move firepit or have them closer to the tent area.
Other than that we were very happy with our stay 😊

Showers and toilets modern and clean. Beautiful views over the fens, with the little trains chugging back and forth. Massive pitches.

Washing up facilities insufficient for number of plots. Expensive for fairly basic facilities. Not peaceful: large groups of multiple families over several pitches going loud into the night every night.

Well marked out pitches, good signage across site, good spread of facilities, good views from majority of pitches. Site is quite remote, good info ahead of arrival. Really liked the site and area

Everything was just perfect here, sunsets beautiful and we saw a shooting star, peaceful, nice dog walking area, fire pits provided all over and wood and coal sold on site. The owner and staff were absolutely so helpful too. Thank you head fen.

Generous and spacious pitch size, level as long as you don't go to near the hedge - site is well maintained. Toilet and shower blocks exceptionally clean and a good size. Remote and perfect location for peace and quiet. Lakes well maintained for fishing. Tilly at reception was most helpful and pleasant.

Nothing to dislike but suggest better signage from the road for Head Fen Camping and Caravan site and as it is remote advisable to take sufficient provisions for length of stay if in a motorhome/camper.
