Pretty site. Good location. Surprisingly quiet considering how many campers were on site. Potential to be a lovely site.

The toilets are not cleaned regularly enough. They were frequently out of toilet roll. We had to purchase our own. They completey backed up whilst we was there. We called and complained to the manager and was told that they are cleaned three times a day. This is completely false. They are cleaned once in the morning and that is it. Once you are out of toilet roll that is it till the next day. The showers are the same. Dead crusty spiders hanging from the ceiling. There was the a bug that was on same sink for the duration of our stay. The site also advertises free WiFi. Unless you are standing next to reception you will not get WiFi. This wasn't an issue for us but worth mentioning as it is not as advertised. I have never written a review before and I hate to be so negative but as a frequent camper this was honestly the worst camp facility wise that I have been to.

Not a lot to like

Dirty blocked toilets on arrival not toilet rolls after mid morning positioned in shade! Old showers dirty derelict all needs updating, site states dogs on leads no dog was on a lead left to run the field one came on my pitch ate my dogs dinner who was on a lead for the duration. Two men sat at the gate when I arrived followed me i had to ask what they wanted they said they were grounds men, showed me to my shady pitch no small talk no chit chat not friendly.
Gave me my codes for the gate I asked about dogs on leads he said they should be but he won’t say anything if I don’t put mine on a lead,
No staff to be found after 5 reception empty! No one to call upon on site. Drain men turned up mid evening other campers showing him the blocked toilets,

Flat ground with well-spaced pitches.

Showers are in poor condition and flood easily. The toilets are grubby and the management inexplicably stingy with the toilet paper, forcing desperate people to use hand towels that then block the toilets. The wifi is hopeless.

The pitch was a good size, and lots of room for children to play.

The showers were horrible, small, unclean and kept flooding. There was never any toilet paper in the toilets and they was unclean too.
Reception is closed at weekends, so couldn't tell anyone 😕 also the 15 minute work is more like 45 minutes to a hour.

Slight issue with flooding in the showers but staff were aware of the issue. WiFi didn’t reach our pitch but we were about as far from the main building as you could get!

Location is excellent, close to a great pub and adventure park, pitch was nice and flat with ample spacing between us and other campers, lots of green space to play in with the kids and some nice dedicated dog walks.

Showers weren’t the best, very low pressure and could do with some modernisation. Wi-Fi did not reach our field/pitch, not a deal breaker for us as had read this on past reviews and downloaded some offline shows for the little ones for those breaks between playing outside.

Location

Poor facilities. Inadequate supplies in the toilets. Showers poor. Site allowed a community of traveller families to occupy half the site which meant facilities were disrespected, rules were ignored and poor behaviour of children was not challenged. Toilets were blocked and overflowing although quickly resolved this was a pain in the arse.

Such a lovely experience at Gundrys farm campsite. It is so close to Moors Valley Country Park!
The kids had so much space to play.
Our pitch was perfect distance when solo parenting as it was close enough to toilets & shower blocks.
