Peaceful surroundings, location and a flat pitch. We were welcomed by a very knowledgeable member of staff, although he was new to the role, he did an excellent job explaining where everything was and we managed to find a pitch in the shade.
Toilets were functional and clean. Showers were a bit tired but again functional. Tip: If using the showers let the water run, as it takes a while to warm up. 😀

Nothing. I can imagine the showers would be well used if both fields were full but seemed to manage with the amount of people staying while we were there.
Also if people cleared up after themselves the toilets would stay clean. While we were there someone left the toilet block door open, and light on. People should try and keep the site clean.

Excellent location for exploring the New Forest, lovely quiet site and a good dog walk with plenty of dog waste bins. Sue and Simon welcomed me and showed me what was where and they were most helpful. Pitches are almost perfectly level which made setting up very easy.

Showers need a revamp.

Great location. A jolly welcome from sue & her dog. Large space for the grandchildren to run around & play games. Great large & level pitch. No WiFi which was great for us, we were informed of this when we booked, but it wasn't a problem for us. Lovely walk to moors valley.

The toilets were in a wooden shed, which the outside door wouldn't shut. The only good thing about the showers was, they were hot. The cubicle we went in the roof was just perspex tiles of which 1 had moved & left a large gap, there were brambles growing through the other tiles. The drains were either blocked or just slow to drain. My daughter had a shower after showering her daughter & the water was running out the shower door, down the step & out into the main entrance. There are only 2 ladies toilets & 4 showers for the whole of the site, so I can imagine it there would be long queues in peak season.

Excellent site on the edge of the New Forest. Easy to access ( no narrow roads) and generous size level pitches.

Great quiet stay even with children playing around.
Our little ones 9 and 4 loved exploring the area.

Area facilities was lovely , great for dogs , very welcoming. Good sight for first time campers

Not enough signs to direct around the camp site , could do with a mini paper map/ site map on the notice board at the front of the sight to give more guidance around the sight.
Needs a playground / play area for kids
