The facilities were very clean, although as we, sadly, were the only people on the site, and we're not messy, that not a surprise!!

Beautiful flat field, lovely and quiet. Lovely location. Reception staff were so friendly and helpful. A really relaxed atmosphere to the whole place. Definitely will return. Beautiful walks around moors valley right on the doorstep. Can walk from site.

Beautiful campsite and really well maintained. Sue, the warden, absolutely lovely and nothing is too much trouble. All the staff are really friendly it’s surrounded with trees and more trees and is so peaceful just a divine tranquil re-energising gem of a spot. We brought our two dogs with us and there is a really neat dog walk allocated which is all fenced in and meanders around the campsite. Totally brilliant. Will definitely be staying here again as our stay was utterly perfect.

Open space, great location for exploring

no wifi despite being advertised and the facilitaies weren't well kept and are in need of investment. The site is huge and could be amazing with some further investment.

Reasonable size pitches

Large field with very tall trees around it could have been anywhere next to a very loud race track with Tannoy going for hours and hours dog poos in the field as you walk towards the toilet if you have a dog pick up after it I booked the site because it offered Wi-Fi at thepitch when we got there we were told to use the Wi-Fi. You have to go and stand near the office when we try to use the Wi-Fi it was not working.

The set up of the camp was great, spacious, well laid out & safe for children.

Facilities really good, free and clean.

The location is beautiful and very peaceful

The pitches are badly worn so mainly mud, the facilities are shocking, dirty toilet sheds with no hot water and found on visit not well stocked with toilet roll or blue hand towel (ladies)
The showers again dirty mixed sex and flooded the whole time we were there. One shower missing cold tap so only scolding hot water. Opened main outer door to naked man drying himself due to the water in the shower block on the floor.
Advertised WiFi but couldn’t connect the whole time there.
Sadly this could and should be a great site but it needs investment and better management to run it.

Had great open space for the children to play in the middle. Generous size pitches with plenty of space between other pitches. Plenty to do in the local area.

The facilities weren’t overly clean. The toilets were cleaned once in the morning then left for the rest of the day. Power kept tripping even with minimal things running from it. The field has very tight access, if you have a large twin axle caravan that’s 8ft wide make sure that you have someone with you to see you in.

Lots of space around each pitch. Staff was very understanding as I rang up about getting to the site late due to car problems and they gave me instructions for gate codes etc. Clean facilities. Close to garden centre and mountain warehouse for a small walk. Lovely area.
