Friendly, informative staff, good location, new toilet/shower block warm and clean, plenty of space.

Electric points quite out of the way so long lead’s needed, very muddy, dirty on roads and pitch (hard standing), actual women’s toilet block dirty and cold, wasn’t clear that the new toilets are unisex (are they?). New toilets no soap. WiFi very weak. Some noise quite late from a group having a party (could there be guidance on what time noise should be reduced?)

Plenty of space on hardstanding pitch, also quieter this time of year, also nice easy walk into the town of Shrewsbury with it's shops and restaurants, plenty of toilet facilities, also one block is heated with toilet shower and wash basin in each cubicle,nice pubs within walking distance,we have been here before and will return in the future.

Within 15 mins walk into Shrewsbury town centre, friendly staff. The new toilet and shower facilities look nice - although due to the weather being very cold, -5 degrees and not really getting much above freezing, therefore a lot of the time the water was frozen in the new facilities. Large, level hard standing gravel pitches. Site is basic, no other facilities but we knew that and it was fine. Good WiFi.

Sam, the lady who showed us round was really helpful. Hardstanding Pitch was well drained despite the weather. New toile/showers were clean. Access into Shrewsbury centre walking along the "Pig Trough" path along the river was easy.

Close proximity to town with a path making it a 15 minute stroll. Friendly staff. The grounds would have been brilliant for dog walking had the site not been under water in October so it was very wet under foot.

Amenities old and outdated although there is a brand new unisex shower block which has a toilet in the same compartment which most people tended to use treading muddy shoes into the unit making it difficult if you wanted to use the shower. Most of the pitches including ours were adjacent to an access road to the 'Mens Shed' so there was traffic going past at speeds too fast for a campsite.
