Basic site but perfect location to walk into Shrewsbury, 15min walk and your in the town, lots of history and historic places to visisit,and lots of pubs and food eateries site manager welcoming and friendly , would return, shower good and hot AND NOT TIMED, still basic but ok

Easy to book via the telephone. Lady very helpful. Toilets and showers clean and tidy, toilet roll there and no rubbish.
When do the car boot sales start again please?

Spacious pitches , very open . Helpful & friendly staff , nice new shower block , plenty of water taps and chemical disposal . So easy to walk into Shrewsbury a nice pleasant stroll in about 10-15 minutes. Great price which included electric and water on pitch

Not much to dislike , some sort of generator going near our pitch which was a little annoying , one of the rubbish skips across from our pitch was overflowing

Good size pitch with easy access to water with a tap directly behind.
The location is fantastic. It is an easy walk directly to the town via the riverside, mainly avoiding traffic.

Very friendly staff, who greeted us on arrival and gave us a choice of pitch. The pitch was gravel and fairly level, but did need ramps. There was water and electricity on the pitch and the Elsan point was close by. The site was an easy walk into Shrewsbury, by the river, so very handy for the sites of the town (recommend the prison tour) and the theatre.

We didn't use any of the shower facitlities

Great site. We were welcomed warmly by the site manager and he explained everything which was great.
Site is lovely and clean.

Basic facilities for the price

Spacious pitch w easily accessible utilities along w handy facilities. Really friendly staff & great to know that the stay contributes the maintenance & upkeep of the showground! Will stay again!
