Brilliantly situated for access to Shrewsbury, 10/15 minute walk, beautiful town, steeped in history, lots of shops, pubs, cafes, faultless.

Gravel pitch nice and level, warden very friendly, toilets, showers pretty basic, not the cleanest, I understand from warden that site is run by a charity, it does need updating, which is a pity because where it is situated is a nice spot, just needs sprucing up a bit.

Easy to get into Shrewsbury

Spacious pitches. We were parked next to the road, which wasn't a problem as no vehicles using it. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Short walk into town. Amenities were clean, but it was very quiet with only a few pitches occupied. Lovely stretch of river for fishing. Free wifi. Would use again out of season

Hot water, first come first served, so very often none left for washing up. Toilet rolls stored on handle of Toilet Brush, sitting in brush holder. So we used our own paper. Suggest putting shelves up to store loo rolls and installing loo roll holders.

Lots of space between caravans and easy check in out process. Well priced and close to river.

Toilet and shower block were cold (kept clean however).
Campsite wasnt shut at night and there was a construction team on site during day.

Another repeat visit. Love the space for a good dog walk. Lovely folk who are helpful.
Large space for van. Easy walk into town.

Very helpful staff, friendly and accommodating. Even offered us the use of a longer hook up cable as ours wasn't long enough.

Showers were freezing and not particularly clean. Some toilets had no seats or lids.
