Sue was so sweet and friendly when we arrived.
It was so close to town as well, easy to walk to the different pubs and restaurants

The site was lovely and quiet, the new toilet and shower block was clean, accessible and a pleasure to use, the site warden Sue was so nice and so welcoming, no problems at all and will definitely stay again

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Entrance to sight flooded but signposts to diversion well set up

Huge open spaces, lots of EHU points, lots of water fill points, heated toilet / shower blocks but above all... Sue and the team

The access road was flooded so Sue called to let me know, gave me the option to cancel if we wanted but also gave directions for another way to get to the Showground - which we took.

Sue met us when we arrived, explained where everything was and took us to our pitch. She also confirmed that while the road was flooded, the Showground would be fine.

She also said that normally we'd be 15 minute walk to town but now we'd need to follow the long route so more like 40 minutes.. No problem

Close proximity to town.

No handwash in toilets,or hand dryer, could do with some hooks for clothes in showers or a stool to put your wash bag on.

Access into Town was only a 10-15 min walk
Nice and quiet pitch, Sue was very welcoming

Disappointed in internet, really slow or none at all with being so close to a town
Unfortunately toilet blocks had been flooded previously so only portaloos available (although very clean)

Had a two night stopover, excellent site and it’s only a 15 minute walk to Shrewsbury. We were greeted by warden Sue who offered us a choice of several pitches. The Showground was recovering from the previous weeks flooding but still had an excellent toilet and shower block available.

The location was ideal,such easy access to historic Shrewsbury. Plenty of flat space and good sized pitches , everything included in the price ,even laundry facilities.
Lovely and quiet and dark .The on site warden was very helpful when we arrived in the dark .

When we booked our confirmation didn't say which of the 3 areas we had been allocated to , and with it being dark ,slightly difficult to locate the main reception.

Convenient location a short walk into Shrewsbury. Camp was clean, as were the showers and the camp booking in folks were friendly.

Great site, really helpful staff particularly Sue, Mick and I think Vince? Helped me out when my vehicle wouldn’t start. Soon got sorted and on our way. Thank you so much. 👍🏻Good pitches close to town. Will definitely be back!

Only issue was the access road was flooded due to the wet weather and the river being high so could not walk into town but that’s Mother Nature for you!!
