A aimé My review is tempered by the fact that we arrived late and tired after a long drive and then left early next morning. We only visited reception and the sanitary block. We found the site easily and there were no access issues. Reception was welcoming and efficient and we were guided to our pitch which was appreciated. The touring pitches are grouped close to the entrance. Our pitch was more than adequate for the caravan, awning (not used) and car. It was flat, but sloping toward the range limit of our caravan legs. Overall the site was very clean, tidy, well maintained and value for money. Reception advised me as to where to refuel with diesel. One feature of the site is its easy walking proximity to the very pretty medieval village of St Suzanne, which we regret we had no time to visit. Would we go back? Yes.

N'a pas aimé We may has missed something, but the most obvious potable water point was in the black water disposal bay at the entrance of the sanitary block. I didn't like this and found a faucet in the potwash area next door. An extrrnal potable water faucet would be best (apologies if I missed it). On a similar vein, there didn't appear to be a grey water disposal point. Finally, if i wanted to use the site to explore the area i would find having to unlock the entrance gates to gain access as early as 7 30pm irritating

Regarding the points you raised:

Drinking water is indeed available on site, as well as a waste disposal point. Despite your late arrival, we would have been happy to show you around the glamping area if you had asked.

As for the access gate, the code is part of our security system. It allows each guest to be completely independent when coming and going, while preventing unauthorized entry. We understand that this might seem surprising during a short stay, but it is specifically designed to guarantee peace and security for everyone.

In just one night, it's indeed difficult to fully experience everything glamping has to offer… and also to explore the village of Sainte-Suzanne, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, which truly deserves to be discovered at your leisure.

We would be delighted to welcome you back for a longer stay, allowing you to enjoy the site and the surrounding area even more.

A aimé Shower block was warm, showers and toilets were clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Site was secure. We bought the pizza a couple of times and they were very good, and delivered to our caravan. Surrounding countryside was beautiful.

N'a pas aimé Not to do with the site but the restaurants in the village weren't very friendly. Same with one of the shops. The nearby supermarket and the boulangerie in the village were friendly though.

Love the music playing in the campsite facilities and plants scattered around, cute! Friendly helpful staff! Clean facilities!Great variety of structures to sleep in!

A aimé Lovely friendly welcome. Clean and organised site. Met lots of other campers here and there seemed to be good community vibe about the place. Facilities were clean.

A aimé Small, intimate, pretty site. Pitches largely level with easy access to power. Beautiful town. Easy walking routes to chateau. Showers and toilets clean and well serviced. Great coffee in the morning.

N'a pas aimé Pitches very close together with variable privacy between them. Although just out of high season, cafe not open very much at all.

A aimé Lovely location. Short walk through fields to the beautiful medieval town. Small supermarket within walking distance with a Super U hypermarket 5 mins drive away. Lovely swimming pool next door that is free to use. Pitches are level and a good size, spotless loo and shower block. Owners are very friendly and relaxed. Take away pizza service on site - good value and tasty.
Highly recommended.

N'a pas aimé Tent pitch was right next to kids park so very noisy. You could also hear the exercise class and their music super loud. The ground wasnt grass but soil so hard to get pegs in.

Nous tenions à vous rappeler que le cours d’aquagym n'a duré que 45 minutes, et qu’il était annoncé sur notre programme d’animations.
L’aire de jeux est effectivement à proximité de l’emplacement que vous occupiez, néanmoins, à 21h, les enfants étaient tous rentrés…
Par ailleurs, cette année, la sécheresse a malheureusement affecté l’état du sol, rendant certains emplacements moins souples qu’habituellement. Nous faisons notre possible pour l’améliorer malgré les aléas climatiques.
Enfin, nous nous permettons de vous rappeler que le solde de votre séjour n’a pas été réglé lors de votre départ. Nous vous remercions par avance de régulariser cette situation

A aimé Very friendly welcome, shown to pitch. Info leaflet on the area, info of the walks and cycling around the area. Lovely clean toilets and showers. Does have a bar and pizza available to order we didn't use so cannot comment. You can use the municipal swimming pool next door but we didn't use so can't comment. A tiny walk up a bank to the local village. A couple of great bars, waitress staff were very friendly. Lovely small quiet campsite run by a lovely couple.

N'a pas aimé The showers are pull cord so bit of a faff, pull cord then if let go water stops, so have to keep holding . I Understand its to help the environment, but a faff.

Regarding the pull-down showers, we understand that this system can sometimes seem less practical. As you may have guessed, this is an environmentally friendly choice to limit water waste.
