A aimé Excellent campsite, with spacious pitches. Easy checkin with a warm welcome from the owner and their lovely dog. Clean facilities and everything as expected. Really good value and included the extras such as gazebos and awnings. Stayed as a half way stop and to test the camping set up. Would recommend staying here and would return again.

A aimé Andy (site owner) met us on arrival and made us feel incredibly welcome and helped my husband manoeuvre the tourer into a perfect spot to overlook the greenery. Andy and his wife left us to set up and we went and paid, they were very friendly and helpful.
The site is beautifully maintained, clean and peaceful.
There is a small play area for children, our 9 and 4 year old girls enjoyed it, there is a dog field which our little dog Otis loved running around in and a little shop on site. The showers and toilets were modern and clean, there is use of a washing machine, dryer, pot washing facilities and a borrow library.
Other visitors on site that own caravans and visited were lovely to chat too and shops to buy essentials are just 15 minutes away in the car.
It was a very relaxing, peaceful break, just what we needed and couldn't fault the price.

N'a pas aimé The toilets were about 5 minutes walk away but not a problem for us having a tourer. Andy did say they are hoping to build some closer to the area we stayed in but honestly I couldn't fault anything.

A aimé Lovely quiet site positioned in a gorgeous part of Wales. Andy & Jo are both very approachable and you can tell they are wanting to improve and maintain a good standard of the site. We also popped into the on site pub, good selection of alcohol and met some of the site caravan owners who were so friendly! Toilet/showers clean too. And the little shop was handy as I forgot my toothbrush (reasonably priced too) We will be returning again :)

N'a pas aimé Yes, the toilets are a walk away (about a 3 mins dawdle) but it is a nice walk through the site to them so wasn’t too bothered. We just bared this walk in mind.

A aimé The site wardens are very accommodating, we changed our pitch on arrival, due to more family joining us. Due to the wet weather we got stuck and the warden just came along with his tractor and pulled us to the hard standing, very friendly. Site is geared for families

N'a pas aimé The toilets are a far way from the camping side of the site, but not a problem for us

A aimé We visited Henllan as a last minute decision and stayed for 2 nights the couple that run the site are such lovely accommodating people and really can not do enough to help!
The site it's self is well maintained, the toilet/shower block was spotless at all hours of the day and the facilities are fantastic.
There is a play area on the campsite that my children had hours of fun playing in along with a massive field with nets to play football. We took our dog with us there is a fully fenced safe area for dogs to run around safely within too so quite literally something for all the family!

We will definitely be visiting again when the warmer weather comes for the kids to play in the beautiful river that runs along the site... Can not recommend this place any more!

A aimé Lovely setting, plenty of space.
Very helpful staff, particularly Andy who helped tow me off the grass when our motorhome got stuck.

A aimé Beautiful site the people running it super friendly and accommodating. Very clean and tidy all round great site to stay on

N'a pas aimé Walk to the shower clock is quite far but staff are aware and looking for ways to improve this situation
