A aimé Bed was comfortable, sheets were clean.
didn't use the pub or shower so couldn't comment
noise from motorway /trains was minimal so not an issue for us.

N'a pas aimé electrical set up looked dangerous with a car battery and diesel heater next to a small table with tv kettle and an aerial, smell of diesel fumes once the door was closed wasn't nice at all.
Toilets were not clean
Wasn't sure if there was an area to wash dishes.
there was phone numbers to call for questions but we really couldnt get out of here quick enough not to our liking at all.

A aimé Lovely area 6 minutes drive to Gretna the place is So peaceful,bar staff were lovely and would do anything to help. Shower block was out of order but they give me a full room to shower in at the pub

N'a pas aimé The battery’s showing in the corner such a hazard, if u were to have kids/dogs etc also didn’t run a 12v kettle/ there definitely a way to make it look more safe and neat.

A aimé Location next to the M6, very basic pod which is perfect for a quick stop over. Easy check in and the pub is fine for a drink and food is reasonably priced.

N'a pas aimé Location next the M6, very noisy at night, diesel heater and car battery setup it a little concerning with dogs in the pod, toilets showers etc need some TLC.

A aimé Could not have been easier upon our arrival. Details were text through to me with everything I needed to know. The pod was very clean, well appointed with a very comfy mattress. Good communication throughout our stay with Lisa made for a really pleasant experience. The price is very reasonable and the facilities were clean and well maintained. Plans to update the shower block will be a great benefit to the site. But regardless we will be returning for another stay soon.

A aimé Friendly staff. Had a number to use if we had any issues which was answered straightaway. Roger helped us with a problem in our pod. He also was there to open up for the showers. Couldn’t fault the services available.

A aimé Clean inside. Good for overnight stay close to the M6. The cost was fair and we had a lovely evening meal at the pub. All in good value for money.

A aimé The proximity to the start of our long distance walk as we started the King Charles 111 Coastal path from here and the footpath was at the front of the pod. Bed was very comfortable and the pod was very private to all other campers.

N'a pas aimé The pod is equipped with a diesel heater which i believe had been filled that day. No need really during a heatwave. Consequently the pod smelled very strongly of diesel. Not sure if some had been spilled during the refill. We tried venting the place by leaving the doors open but once closed the fumes were overpowering. We ended up sleeping with the doors open. Just as well it was June. The pod had a tv in it which wasn’t plugged in and there was no plug socket anywhere just some kind of large battery set up with wires coming off it. Some of which we’re lose and not connected properly to whatever it was they we're connected to. The host did send a man with a small generator to help the situation who explained the previous occupants had broken the only socket in the pod and it had to be removed. We tried the generator but i felt it was too noisy and i was worried about disturbing other site users. We couldn’t get the TV to work anyhow (no batteries in the remote control). We had to use a shower room inside the pub due to no showers available on the site. This was only available at certain times. The shower room was filthy. The shower room had not been cleaned in a long time. The carpet was filthy and the shower cubicle clearly had recently suffered a blockage and been unblocked but the blockage debris had been left in the shower cubicle. I won’t describe what it looked like. We have all seen blockages removed from showers/sinks etc. The campsite does have a toilet block. Toilets only with a small sink in each room. Pretty standard for this type of site. We chose not to eat in the pub so cannot comment on this. We did however sit outside and have a couple of drinks which were very nice and the staff very friendly and pleasant to talk too. The pod overall was very comfortable and we felt was good value for money. Located exactly were we wanted to be. Get rid of the diesel heater. It stinks the place out.

A aimé The pod was beautiful the views are gorgeous. The staff are so friendly and helpful! Food was absolutely delicious in the restaurant.

N'a pas aimé Only thing that was slightly disliked was how loud the diesel heater is, couldn't really have it on late at night as was very loud outside the pod too! But definitely does not damper the place.
