A aimé The pub was great. Really good food and friendly staff. I wouldn’t say the site is great for kids as it’s just basic. Okay for adults just needing a field to sleep on.

N'a pas aimé The field felt overbooked. Not really enough space for any privacy or space required between vans / tents, vans parking very close as no option to camp elsewhere, one van parked literally bumper to bumper with another, and they weren’t together. Dogs off lead just doing what they please.

A aimé Basic campsite with toilets and hand-washing facilities, lovely field with trees around and some more secluded pitches ring the back of field 1. Loved the homemade saag aloo pie and my breakfast. The low-stress feeling of the whole place. Loved feeling like I was in a quiet, calm place, but not far to walks, shops and facilities/entertainment.

N'a pas aimé Shame the brewery tour was bit running on my weekend, but I'll be back for that next time.

A aimé Great price, nice location and the pub beer and food is great. Breakfast was decent so ended up staying another night. Loads of walks around there.
Toilets old and basic but clean and do what toilets need to!
Would recommend to anyone who just wants a simple site with no fuss.

A aimé Small site with a very relaxed vibe from the owners. The facilities are adequate, toilets, bins and water only. They are not fancy but they very much do the job and are a food step up from a regukar plastic portapotti.

Access was good for our 6.5m camper. There is nothing to hit the top on entry etc although the turn can be tight, but very manageable, depending on which direction you enter.

The pub was a great addition and served a decent selection of their own brews of beers, a cider and lager with usual pub prices. Cannot comment on taste of food, but the food i saw other receive smelled and looked lovely.

The site and area is dark at night, but the view of the stars and moon leaves me begging them not to add lighting because the views of the skies were lovely.

Regular cell reception isn't great on site (ee) but our vodafone 5g Internet system had no trouble and worked well. There was also free WiFi available in the pub.

N'a pas aimé An updated sign might be useful in the fields on how/where to pitch, checkout etc, but it didn't hinder our stay at all.

The fields are relatively level, but larger wheel base vans may need a ramp, as we did but it was more than acceptable, its a natural grassy field after all.

A aimé Great for going walking and cheap, this site is very basic site with water and a very basic toilet block, if your not used to roughing it then it's not for you, the pub is great though and gets busy

N'a pas aimé Ground was quite wet , vehicles getting stuck , it it early season though. Nothing wrong with the place just felt it wasn’t for us

A aimé We couldn’t fault the new inn food was great and good value breakfast staff were very helpful to

N'a pas aimé We arrived and was directed to the field it was on a slight concrete slope into the grass areas we as soon as we hit the grass field we were stuck and as much as we tried our motorhome was not moving and had to wait 45 mins to be towed out by a local with a your wheel drive pickup
