Old Buckenham Country Park

A aimé Friendly staff, park for the little one to play in, in the evening we sat outside, bought a nice cocktail and watch our little girl play with other kids. Was a nice experience on our first time using our caravan - will definitely be coming back.

A aimé The check in process was smooth & quick, pitches well laid out and of a reasonable size. If a little close together with how busy the site was that meant they requested we not keep a car alongside. That being said ample car parking close by. The playground facility and café where a great added extra for convenience. The main toilet, shower and washing up block, a great size and laid out really well for all the needs.

N'a pas aimé Suspect we may have been there for the busiest time of year (due to the local air show) and as such it showed. During the weekend it really didn't seem like the main toilet block facility was cleaned, if at all, anywhere near as frequently as it should have been. They also seemed to have a corresponding issue with the drainage when under such demand, and as such at times there was a site wide very very un-pleasant aroma. We would stay again at a less busy time but will avoid peak demand as it just brought the experience down for us on what feels like is a great site.

The local air show does bring an unusually high number of visitors, and while we do our best to manage peak demand, it’s clear that on this occasion our facilities didn’t meet expectations.

We take cleanliness and site maintenance very seriously, and your comments about the toilet block and drainage issues have been noted and will be shared with our team to help us improve during high-traffic periods.

N'a pas aimé Wasps as we were put next to the bins , having to walk right across the campsite to empty the toilet. Pitches to close together got set up then asked to move

A aimé Toilets and showers were clean and large enough so never having to queue. The bar was also clean and tidy with a friendly atmosphere.

N'a pas aimé The pitches were poorly signed and I would say poorly maintained as litter wasn’t cleared but seemed to just be mown over, leaving plastic and paper behind. Occasionally got smells of what I assumed was people emptying chemical toilets drifting across the site, which were quite unpleasant and that I have never experienced before at other sites.
The bar, although friendly and clean offered only limited food options. On the occasion we visited the options were pizza or noodles.

A aimé Modern and clean Facilities, cafe area with lake view, street food vendors, children’s park.

N'a pas aimé The wood we bought from the cafe wouldn’t catch and smoked a lot. Some children making lots of noise on bikes past noise cap. Lots of wasps!! (Haha)

A aimé Staff were friendly and so helpful. Site is clean, well tended. There were some larger groups, but all respectful and quiet. Shower facilities clean and modern.

N'a pas aimé The fact we were there for only a few days. We didn't have time to use the cafe or explore the park.

A aimé Brilliant clean facilities and very friendly helpful staff.
We found the site to be quiet even though it was very busy.
The cafe and cocktail area is a massive plus.

A aimé A beautiful setting, we stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it! Toilet/shower facilities were clean, the pitches were a decent size and level. Staff were very friendly and the cafe area was lovely, we recommend the breakfast wrap! We’ll be visiting again soon!

A aimé This is the first time we have been here and we're impressed by the size of pitch and accessibility. It was a well laid out site.

N'a pas aimé Our only comment is that in the mens' wash area, the sink hot taps have high pressure and tend to splash out onto you, when you stand in front.
