Camping at The Hollies

A aimé Nice campsite ,lots of space , family's in one field adults only in the other 👍👍👍👍clean loos , short walk to the pub and not far to reservoir or to the other walks ,laid back atmosphere, not much wifi signal ,this wasnt an issue as we was there to get away from it all 👍we took our three small well behaved dogs all other dogs on camp site where also well behaved .quiet campsite at night .
Place to wash your pots and showers if you needed one ,no complains fantastic weekend .would go again ,perfect for anyone on a walking weekend 👍👍or to get away from it all 👍

A aimé Brilliant campsite with lovely views and very clean facilities. Great location for walking/ hiking and pitches were level.

A aimé One huge field, park where you like, no limit on space.
Close to reservoir. Quiet. Dogs allowed
Shower x4, toilet x4 plus old block x2 toilets.
Pretty flat
Showers hot

Friendly owners

Got to pay £1 for 5 minutes use.
Very limited buses Into Buxton and leek.
WiFi terrible on 3 network

A aimé Beautiful view of the Roaches from the campsite. Liked that you were able to pick your own pitch and check out wasn't until 11, though this was not actually enforced so you could take your time packing up. No check in procedure just drive up and set up. Very close (2 min walk) to a lovely pub - the three horseshoes. The fish and chips was amazing and everyone else's food looked great too. Nice farm shop a few minutes down the road and very close to the roaches walk and the reservoir. Very good for the price!

N'a pas aimé Toilets were dirty, mud on floor and unsure if they were cleaned while there for 2 days. Never had to queue to use though plenty of stalls. Showers - you have to pay and covered in mildew inside. If using bring shoes you can wear in there! You do not want to be barefoot. Bins are a bit of a walk just at the front enterence rather than in each field.

A aimé Everything was great, the facilities were clean and well maintained. the showers were very warm and nice. Pizza van on site was great and great pizzas. Large fields to cater to everyone. All in all great stay for the weekend

N'a pas aimé Only slight downside was queuing for showers as only 4, but it was raining and lots of people probably wanted to get warm so not a major issue at all didn't ruin anything

A aimé Second time at this campsite, love the views, plenty of space, clean facilities and the pizza van is great (good decision moving the location of this as well, new wooded area is really nice), nice laid-back vibe

N'a pas aimé No complaints, if being picky there could be a few more showers, and possibly some more toilets in another more central location as they are quite far when camped at the back of the second field or in the third field.

A aimé Great campsite. All the facilities we needed, turn up and pitch where you like. Fantastic views and a pub about 250 metres away.

A aimé Great campsite, great people who run it, had an amazing time with my friends, would definitely come again

A aimé great views in every direction. plenty of space. Laid back but not noisy. Friendly owner. The owner was happy for us to use our own fire pit and pay for their firewood. £10.00 a bag. we were able to bring 3 dogs kept on lead. Good walks near by. Great night sky.

A aimé Lovely site, very attentive staff. Toilets and facilities very clean and well stocked! Lots of people but everyone was respectful and so much space, quieter than most sites we’ve been to. Lovely walks and pub near by and the pizza shack was a great addition. We’ve been before and will be back again. We had a lovely time
