- Electricity is metered on site at £0.285 per kWh and must be paid onsite using a pre-paid topup card. A £5 refundable deposit for the topup card will be taken on arrival. The site has a single-shower bathroom, which may require some waiting during busier periods.

Le camping Holme Lea Farm, convivial et familial, propose des emplacements spacieux et bien entretenus. Les visiteurs apprécient l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, les installations propres et les aires de jeux pour enfants. Many thanks for leaving a review. We do actually have an extra toilet in the shower room. We would like to update the toilet block in the future and will of course add another. The vast majority of the season one ladies is sufficient, however on busy holiday weekends there may be a short wait. For bank holiday we will add a rent a loo for the weekend.

Beautiful first impression..

A aimé On arrival we were met by an elderly gentleman who helped us to a pick our pitch and also asked if we needed any thing as he going in town . Turned out he wasn't the owner just a regular camper who helps out.
The owners did come out to see us and also offered to help with pitching up our tent .
So from the start we knew this was going to be a good site . The owners are very helpful and pleasant and certainly make you feel welcome.
The site was well maintained , toilets are ok and the seprate shower room was very nice.
Imo its got all you need for good camping trip away from home .
All in I can't fault this site we enjoyed it so much we're planning on staying again for 7 nights instead of just 3 nights .

Family run site very clean and tidy,lovely friendly family ,very helpful as this was our first touring holiday , would stay here again , great facilities basic ,clean tidy ,what more could you ask for x

A aimé Lovely and clean site owners very friendly and helpful. Nice little play area for your kiddies. On a bus route. Shower room big and clean but only only one shower. £2 fee.

A aimé Nice spot and space for kids to go play. Facilities not the best but you have to remember this site is cheap, £22 a night...

N'a pas aimé Only 1 shower room to share. Need more space, better shower facility as floor gets wet easily. Better wash up area with water.

As you know we are a small friendly farm site with a mixture of customers including Caravans, motorhomes, and tents. Motorhomes and most camper vans have their own facilities. We do have a large shower room with one shower, vanity unit, WC and decorated with pictures and plants to provide a pleasant experience. We constantly keep an eye on showers and mop the floor if and when required. We are always on hand so if notifield we would attend to it straight away.
We have spent £11,000 recently converting a building to a shower room and providing a wider brick entrance with lighting. We will always want to renew and improve things however as you are aware we charge a very reasonable rate of £22 pn so that is an awful lot of £22 to recoup, 500 pitches! to be exact. We are desperately trying not to increase fees as many sites have done.
If in the future footfall and takings improve we will of course look at facilities again.

Fantastic Site for a family with kids that appreciate camping!

A aimé We had a fantastic time at Holme Lea Farm Campsite!
The spacious grassy area is perfect for kids to play, with a great wooden play structure, swings, and plenty of room to run around.
Lots of bits for younger ones all clean and tidy and some great vehicles for them to admire on the grounds tractors and trailers.
The surrounding trees and the charming farmhouse add a lovely rural vibe. I hear the older part is haunted!
It’s a wonderful spot for a family getaway, and the open space makes it ideal for outdoor fun.
Fantastic Hosts! Nothing is too much trouble so thoughtful and kind hearted!
Has all the facilities you would need!
Lots of rules times etc are made very clear and this creates such a nice environment in the site to keep it calm in the countryside!

N'a pas aimé The washing up area could do with a little refining! Perfectly usable but maybe a little update.
More bins as they fill quick! Are also emptied quickly but also fill quickly!
