Me gustó We really loved the site. The communal (toilets, showers and kitchen) areas were clean and never busy). The shop offered all the essentials and delicious pots of ice cream. There were also 3 food and drink trailers offering a nice variety if you didn’t want to cook. Friendly staff and you can’t beat the Peak District for a great location for walking! Nice and quiet, felt very peaceful and easy to relax. Lots of room for kids to play and cycle round, including trees and tree swings.

Me gustó This was our first trip in our TentBox with our two children, and it couldn't have been a better experience. We loved how peaceful and quiet the site was. During our stay, there were only two other campers, which made it feel very relaxing and secluded. It was wonderful watching the gliders throughout the day, which added something really special to our visit. There is also a pub on site where you can order food, and we were very impressed with the quality. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. John and Silva are fantastic hosts. They are incredibly friendly, kind, and always willing to help with anything you need. The site has shower and toilet facilities, as well as outdoor toilets for use during the night. Fortunately, we didn't need to use them, but it was reassuring to know they were available. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful setting. We will definitely be returning.

No me gustó The only slight downside was entirely due to our own inexperience with the TentBox rather than the campsite itself. The site can be quite exposed and windy, and we hadn't secured our rain cover properly, which made the TentBox noisier than it needed to be during the night. Now that we know what we're doing, it wouldn't be an issue on future visits.
