Me gustó Easy check in. Friendly efficient staff. Good location for walks on the Cleveland Way or walks/cycle along The Cinder Path to Whitby and Robins Hoods Bay and beyond. Nice on site bar which serves good pub grub Friday -Sunday. I've read complaints about extra charge for electricity but our pitch had £3 credit already in place of which we spent £2 during our 4 night stay in a Campervan. Our pitch was level and well maintained. Shower were hot and toilets clean. It's a family site so if you don't like to hear kids having fun go somewhere else.

No me gustó Shop quite poor, stock up before arrival. Shower button has to be continuously pressed or the flow stops. It's quite expensive £45 per night for hard standing pitch with electric a little extra.

Me gustó Convenient location. Easy check in. Booked a Grass pitch with electric hookup for our Campervan. Hard standing pitch with grass section was also an option. Everything worked. Good hot showers. All the facilities available for washing up, laundry etc even a couple of microwave ovens. It was May bank holiday week and therefore very busy even so the staff seemed to do a decent job of keeping everything working and clean. Nice little shop. The onsite club was nice to have but a little disappointing and underused. Nice walks to and around Austwick. Check out the Norber Erratics.
