Me gustó On arrival you are greeted by a very warm and welcoming couple, Patrick and Linda. And from that moment on, they simply cannot do enough to please you. The site is ideally situated and has lots of character. The pitches are a perfect mixture, for motorhomes, caravans and tents alike. Very generous spaces, strategically positioned trees for that ever so needed shade. You are a short walk from the charming town and the services it offers. The toilets, showers and facilities are basic, but very clean and regularly checked. Breads etc, are offered for morning collection from reception as well as many basic, simple requirements, for that just in case need. In the corner of the site, you can hire kayaks and enjoy an hour, half a day, or a full day on the river. All in all a truly lovely site that seems to hypnotise you into relaxing and enjoying what French camping is all about.

Me gustó On arrival I was a little worried about the number of pitches, in such a small area. And the number of children all around the site. Being a solo male, this site was not a good fit. However that said, all aspects were run well and surprisingly all the children, were in bed early. The facilities were all good and the location, next to Surgeres centre was excellent. For families this is a good site !!

Me gustó So this site deserves all the positive reviews it receives. Upon arrival you are greeted by the owner and directed to any one of the pitches you like. Once there, you have plenty of room. Most of which are adjacent to a nicely flowing river. Shade is in abundance and you are never to far away from a toilet block. Which I must say are SPOTLESS. The water was plentiful and at the perfect t temperature. On top of all that you have a really good cafe/restaurant on site. Where the service is impeccable and the food quality is excellent value for money. I would as served by a Dutch guy both nights, Cant remember his name but, nothing was to much. Live music and be night, which was fun but not loud, to spoil the tranquillity at the pitch. There is a small area for children to play, which is viewable from the bar area. How perfect. I enjoyed staying here and would definitely go back again, and am recommending it to anyone.

Me gustó The site is certainly well run, the facilities being very clean and presentable The bar area and food served was very good. I was there for two nights, of which one had live music. The band was very good and sounded great under the pergola.

No me gustó This is only critique, rather than criticism. Being a fair distance from any shops, I feel it would be not to much effort to offer relatively simple goods, such as milk, pastas and other daily items This is my 14 th campsite stayed on, during my tour of France. And the only one that didn’t offer baked goods in the morning !! Why I ask ??

We do indeed have this project for a small grocery store, but there's a whole organization to put in place regarding the provision of bread. Me gustó What a true gem of a site. The location on the river is brilliant. Phillip the owner is at hand all the time. The rustic country feel works wonders. The food offered is limited, but good. The proximity to major tourist attractions is spot on. The pitches, toilets and showers were all very good and I would certainly go back, and recommend to anyone Great find 👍🇫🇷

Me gustó The location, facilities, bar, staff were all spot on. The pitches were of a good size and shade was afforded if wanted.

No me gustó On my second night, a family arrived in a motor home at 2.30 am which is absolutely ridiculous. They did not care what noise they made and many of the surrounding neighbours were displeased also.
