Me gustó Lovely and tranquil, beautiful countryside. The two hairy cows were the highlight of our stay ( shame we had to leave early as my partner was looking forward to feeding them!).Also the owner was very friendly and very informative on the area . Would recommend.

Del administrador: Thanks for your review and we are glad you enjoyed our horses and the fantastic views. Our campsite shower/toilet cabin was only constructed in April 2026 at some considerable expense and has drawn praise from returning customers. We do not claim to be "high end" and never intend to but focus on offering great value for money, therefore we feel that of our 3 showers only 1 could be described as functional with the other 2 new and in excellent condition. Furthermore, we have another 2 excellent disabled friendly toilets within the main building meaning we offer way and above the minimum facilities for what is only a small campsite. Some of farm buildings date back to 1890 and earlier and of stone/slate construction and of their age which gives them a traditional appearance, which we would say is a better description than "rundown."

Me gustó LoveLy friendly site . The Sunday roast in the restaurant was excellent. Great walks for the dog and the surrounding area is beautiful. Showers basic but plenty of hot water. All in all excellent value for money and would highly recommend.

Me gustó Spotlessly clean toilets and showers, immaculately kept grounds,without doubt the loveliest site we've stayed on( and we've stayed on 30+ in the last two years!)

No me gustó Phone signal and WiFi patchy, not such a bad thing really.

Me gustó Ideal stopover , just off the A1m . Nice and quiet and an enclosed feild for walking the dog. Toilets and showers adequate. Just what we needed an halfway stopover between Scotland and Wales.

Me gustó Fantastic location, right by the river with views of Ben Nevis. Great walks for the dog. Exceptional toilets and showers, great little cafe with really friendly staff. Would 100 % recommend this place.

Me gustó The drive down to the site was worth the fee alone. Fantastic views and forest walks for the dog right outside the gate. Facilities basic but clean. Will definitely be back!

Me gustó Lovely old style campsite ( no glamping here!) No frills but perfectly clean and adequate showers and toilets. Nice and relaxed site with lovely countryside views. Really dog friendly, the staff really made us welcome . The food in the restaurant was excellent. Would recommend this site to anyone and will definitely be back.

No me gustó Could do with electric hook ups , but you can manage for a couple of nights.
