This was our second visit to this site and would recommend to anyone. Very close by a nice pub serving food, a train station on the South Western Rail and bus services, tank museum and monkey world.

There are only few campsites that make you feel most welcome when arriving. The guys go out of their way to helping you set up & showing you your pitch. It is a very friendly, personable team that work/manage this campsite to make your stay even more enjoyable. Great location set in the village of Wool with a great Pub across the road & local amenities. Would highly recommend to pitch up & stay at Whitemead.No me gustó: Not staying long enough!

Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: Lovely clean site with amazing transport links. We were able to leave our motorhome there and travel to everything we wanted via bus or train which was a 5min walk away!
Great cleanliness of the toilets and shower block and access to launderette facility which didn't cost the earth like some can.No me gustó: Not always enough hot water (but there was a lady staying who would have almost hour long showers with her children and clothes etc after visiting the beach. So may well have been enough for regular considerate camper use).

We use a ride on lawnmower to cut the grass around the park, also we use a small John Deere tractor to help with siting caravans onto pitches the rest of the time our wardens use a golf buggy as main transport around the park .
