Beautiful site in old walled garden, lots of space for each pitch and on the doorstep of The River Tweed. Excellent walks from site, beautiful Paxton House well worth a visit Close to Berwick on Tweed a very interesting town to visit and the beautiful Northumberland coast. It DOES have shower and toilet block.

Absolutely Nothing !!

What I liked about Paxton House caravan site, was the freedom to walk around the grounds, even after the house closed.

There is a shower to use for those on the site. However the floor was mucky with leaves and muddy foot prints. What could improve it, possibly, would be the inclusion of a mop and bucket, for those using the shower to mop the floor afterwards. This would only need emptying once a day and replacing with clean floor solution.
It was a little disappointing that the walled garden itself was untidy around the edges.

An excellent location with very Spacious pitches, We arrived just before 4 o’clock. Went to the main house to check in and spoke with a lovely lady who told us where we could go and what walks we could do in the evening and to make a way to any available pitch on the walled site. They were plenty of pitches available as there was only a dozen vans in total that stayed that night. The two washrooms with toilet and shower were absolutely fine for what we needed with all the usual other facilities available. We used this site whilst travelling back home from Scotland and in the evening we stayed, we were treated to a northern light spectacular.

Great site lovely and quiet, the walks around the grounds are brilliant, have stayed there 3 times this year and have enjoyed every visit.

Having to be off the site by 10.00 am is a bit early for us 11.00am would be better.

Great site. Well sheltered, within a walled garden. Drinking water, grey and toilet waste disposal. Site uses a bank of solar panels to provide power to toilet/shower block and EHU's. Open all year, so planning to use over the autum and winter months. Cafe in Paxton House open 10 to 4. Berwick upon Tweed about 5 mile away. Which has full amenities

Only 2 shower/toilets.
