No lighting from camp site to toilet / shower facilities, very dark at night.
Both shower areas were dirty and damp. Drains appeared to be backing up in showers causing water to overflow from the shower tray onto the floor.
Thanks for taking the time to write this review. However, its unfortunate you didn't find the time to raise your concerns during your visit, despite having a guest information sheet/map with our contact details. We are not for everyone and that is fine but for avoidance of doubt we are a campsite on a farm in rural Wales so it will be dark at night, where there is little light pollution and we make no apology for this. We have never provided night lights to campers & won't be as most campers embrace the dark sky experience. Our toilets/showers are regularly checked/cleaned and all we ask if guests identify an issue then to make us aware at the time, which you did not as it would have been attended to. We wish you all the best in your camping adventures elsewhere, which in all probability will cost more as we do offer what we feel is excellent VFM which includes free entry to Dyfed Shires when the farm is open to the public.
Really friendly staff, clean and tidy. Nice flat field.

No me gustó: The Showers/toilets were a bit unclean and it would have been good to have more toilets that weren't connected to the showers. However, over all really enjoyed the campsite and would recommend.
Thanks for your kind words and we hope to see you again. During busy periods we acknowledge that toilets/showers are busy but they are regularly checked/cleaned. All we ask from guests is if there is an issue then let us know and we will try and rectify promptly. We feel we offer excellent VFM and the vast majority of our guests clearly enjoy themselves on the farm and campsite.

I was met by the site owner and shown the field and where to pitch up.At first glance the place is tired and in need
of a little tlc, and struggling with staffing issues ........BUT
The truth of it is that this place was the best part of my holiday, the kids had a ball, they played from dawn till dusk....the people on the site were lovely, everyone was really friendly, chatty.
It was easy to manage the kids and dogs on site with very little stress.Cardigan bay is only a short drive away, and poppit sands was definitely worth a trip.
I'd definitely recommend.

Thanks for your review and kind words, though I am a bit confused that if we were the best part of your holiday and scored 7/10 then what ratings were awarded elsewhere. However, we do feel we offer a value for money attraction and an authentic farm experience and do not claim to be what we are not. We are dog friendly which many sites are not and we feel we offer a relaxing environment which you agree with. We are a small business and feel we have adequate staff cover and do not offer 24/7 reception. We do endeavour to be available on guest arrival to show you to the site and toilet/shower/water tap locations, which we were. We also provide an information sheet with contact numbers if a need arises with a farm map. I should point out that we provide free use of fire-pits which is evidenced in your picture as we allow their use when many sites refuse or charge for hire. We wish you the best in your future camping adventures and hope to see you on the farm in the future.
