Me gustó The site is spotless and very peaceful, we arrived Friday evening, pizza guy was their in his wee pop up making delicious pizzas, yes we had one, just one thing there could be more signs telling you where it is, we really struggled, our satnav took us to a housing scheme, staff were so friendly, defo we will be back here, thank you

Me gustó Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch die Betreibenden, die Facilities sehr gut ausgeschildert, so dass man sich super orientieren kann, sehr gute Ausstattung mit Gemeinschaftsküche, Waschküche und Einzel-Waschkabinen, große Stellflächen und alles sehr gepflegt.

No me gustó Die nahe Autostraße und der Flugverkehr sind zu hören.

Me gustó Large spacious pitches, site and facilities really well looked after and looks pristine. Loved the kitchen/shared shelter area. Owners were so friendly and made to feel really welcome soon as we arrived.
Great location and we can’t wait to come back!

Me gustó Good size pitches, very modern and clean amenities. Small park for kids.

No me gustó Road leading to the site in poor state of repair. Approximately 1.5 mile. Nothing to do with the site but council lacking in repairs.

Me gustó Really friendly welcome and probably the best bathroom facilities we have come across! Nice level, decent size pitches and a good stop off location for us on our travels north. A great site.

No me gustó I've had to mark it down a couple of stars simply because of the sleep quality. I'm a bit of a light sleeper and our pitch was next to a road where HGVs started travelling past at 5am. Coupled with the aircraft taking off every 5 minutes, it was not a great night for me. Such a shame as a lovely site, and perfect if you're a better sleeper!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed review - and for the 8/10 even though you would not visit again. We’re really glad you enjoyed the welcome, facilities, and found us a good stop-off on your travels.

We’re really sorry to hear your sleep wasn’t as good as it should have been. As you noticed, some of our pitches are closer to surrounding roads and we can unfortunately get early morning traffic at times, as well as aircraft activity depending on conditions - something that can affect light sleepers more than others. It’s a real shame this impacted your stay, especially as everything else hit the mark for you.

If you do ever pass our way again, please do drop us a note when booking and we’ll always do our best to place you in a quieter pitch away from the road side.
