Old Octon Farm Lodges

Me gustó Spacious yet cosy lodge with everything you could need. Decorated with lovely cosy decor that gives the perfect homely touch. Able to pay extra for the hot tub which is absolutely worth it! Owner Mandy was so lovely and helpful :) and the views of the sheep in their fields was lovely to wake up to each morning! There was a folder with so many wonderful recommendations for walks, shopping, eating and days out. Although we didn’t leave the lodge because it was so cosy and relaxing, we loved the effort and planning put into all the recommendations!

Me gustó Everything! Lovely hosts, amazing place to stay, great facilities, hot tub was a dream and we loved the welcome gifts they were really nice extra special touches. It’s a great location as it’s only a short drive to explore local beaches and restaurants.

Me gustó Everything, you can really tell they take great care of their guests, everything had been thought of, even colouring books and games for our girls. Loved how the cabin was decorated for Christmas! Beautiful and clean, everything you could possibly want or need was provided. would recommend to everybody. Really lovely hosts. Thank you for our gifts xx

Me gustó I really enjoyed my stay in Buttercup lodge . It was lovely and peaceful and the hot tub just topped it off . The lodge is very well equipped and very accommodating. The owner was also very helpful . I would definitely like to stay here again.

Me gustó Wow,what a amazing place so peaceful,and relaxing,lovely views,countryside and sheep,lodges are fully equipped all you need to take with you is food and drink.
Hosts are a lovely couple very friendly,we will definitely be returning

Me gustó Buttercup's is a cosy, homely lodge in a stunning setting. It has been thoughtfully designed by the owners (Mandy and Dave) to maximise space. For example, the mattress (very comfy) sits on a raised platform - plenty of room for storing your 'stuff' underneath it.

Also, there's a combi boiler, so hot water is available on demand.

All towels were provided. This was a bonus as Pitchup advises you to bring your own.

In the undersink cupboard there's a dishcloth, sponge, washing up liquiid and cleaning products, so again no need to bring your own (there's hand soap in the shower room).

We brought our dog Monty with us. There are some wonderful dog-friendly beaches nearby (particularly Fraisthorpe and Hunmanby Gap).

Dave and Mandy are friendly hosts who are dedicated to ensuring their guests have all they need for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

A box of Maltesers was waiting for us on arrival (as well as tea, coffee, milk, plus other essentials) - a lovely touch, especially as they are my favourite!

Me gustó The Lodge is a lovely place to stay nice and peaceful with everything you need. Nice and cosy. Really nice having the sheep outside the lodge. I would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.
The hosts are really nice and friendly too.
