Liked The peace & quiet ! The cows in surrounding fields having babies The views from the camping field : Lakeland mountains to the South - the hills of Scotland to North across the Solway Firth The beach is vast and just across the road Facilities spotlessly clean The manager was available almost all of the time, really friendly and couldn’t do enough for you.

Liked Everything, setting, the animals and birds to meet, the nicest composting loos ever in a tiny house (even had gingham curtains) none smelly, plenty of water taps, showers, pond and woodland walks, seating to enjoy the peace, fabulous hosts who regularly cleaned and checked site. Optional fire pits and wood etc for your very own campfire- they just couldn’t do enough - you felt like really honoured guests. They don’t take too many guests allowing plenty of space for peace and quiet too.

Liked Home from home I even received a jar of homemade jam !! Facilities are spotlessly clean and hand-built - nice luxury touches like posh hand soaps. Peaceful and small, rural apsect.

Liked The owners have managed to make this small campsite feel like home! All the little touches like decent hand wash in the loos, and the shower etc were immaculately clean all the time. I was even given a jar of home made jam!

Liked Very well established and organised site. Everything you might need on site, even EV car charging. Staff friendly and helpful. Site spotlessly clean. Spectacular scenery and quiet spot on the grass non electric pitch.

Disliked It was peak season so wasn’t particularly “quiet” because of numbers of children playing on the playground.

Liked Being so close to the sea !! Best place in the whole site. The shower and toilet block was well maintained and clean - clear Covid measures in place
