16-amp electric grass pitch
Liked Loved this site. Great for families had a really nice family run feel to the place. Decent sized site and the pitches were huge! Had a good play park and bouncy castle for the kids which was great but the best bit is the goats. They were so friendly and our kids absolutely loved them as well as all the birds and chickens. Had a nice little outdoor bar area with plenty of sheltered seating and had a good atmosphere everyone was happy and friendly. The bar was really reasonably priced too. The little shop on site was decently stocked and we even hired a fire pit one night which one only £12 and comes full of wood. Toilets and showers were nice and were always clean.
Disliked Nothing

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Quiet, peaceful site. Really good location, minutes drive from Skegness sea front and close to fantasy island too so loads to do locally. Stayed on a fully serviced hard standing pitch which was a really good size and all the pitches across the site were layed out well, easy to reverse into etc. whole site was really clean and well maintained and had a good peaceful atmosphere. Toilet and shower facilities were modern and always really clean- all campers seemed to be respectful of the whole site.
Disliked Would have been nice to have a bar/ clubhouse on site but with so much to do nearby, it’s not really an issue. Struggled with getting onto the site wifi, unsure if my pitch was just a bit too far out the way but I didn’t manage to get onto the WiFi at all.

Great Billing, Northamptonshire, England
Shelduck (area 2) electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Loads to do, really good range of activities, choice of parks, swimming, water sports, zip line, circus, kids entertainment throughout the day. The splash park and club house never seemed too busy considering the size of the park we were able to get tables throughout our stay with no issues. All the staff seemed really friendly and helpful. Definitely not a calm quiet campsite but there is a good energy about the place and you won’t run out of things to do.
Disliked Most of the negatives with this place are down to the campers staying there rather than the staff or site itself. There was a fair bit of rubbish around the camping fields but when I took a walk down to where the static caravans where it was spotless, really tidy and pretty areas. So it really is just down to campers not respecting the site.
Also the facilities were quite dirty and didn’t smell great especially first thing in the morning. However I did see cleaners in there regularly and it was much better once they had been just didn’t last long before people had made a mess of them again! Obviously i understand they can’t have cleaners in there 24 hours a day and it’s just one of the things that comes with having such a large site with so many people it’s just a shame that the campers staying there are what lets the place down.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback following your stay with us. We’re really pleased to hear how much you enjoyed the range of activities, swimming, water sports, splash park and entertainment, and that you found our team friendly and helpful. It’s great to hear that you enjoyed the energy and atmosphere of the park and always had plenty to do. We really appreciate your honest comments regarding the cleanliness of the toilet and shower facilities. We have recently amended the times our park teams are present in the shower and toilet blocks to help improve the experience for our guests. While our teams are not there 24 hours a day, they work hard to keep the facilities clean and maintained throughout their shifts. As you mentioned, with a large number of guests using the facilities, unfortunately they can become untidy very quickly. We also agree that guests have a responsibility to respect the park and dispose of their rubbish appropriately. We want everyone to enjoy the park and its surroundings, and we really appreciate guests who help us keep it looking its best. We listen carefully to feedback from our holiday guests and, where we can, we push hard to do better and continue improving. It’s in our nature to keep listening, learning and finding ways to make our guests’ experiences even better. Thank you again for recognising the hard work of our teams and for sharing your experience with us. We hope to welcome you back again in the future.
Sheringham, Norfolk, England
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Really nice site set in a forest location, good atmosphere lots of friendly people staff and other campers! Toilet, shower and cleaning facilities are centralised so nearby wherever your pitch is. It’s got a really good big park and football pitch in the middle with loads of different parts for different ages. Only about a 10 minute drive to both Sheringham and Cromer seafront too. Nice little bar which serves food, we didn’t try but looked good. Bar also had something going on the few nights we were there like bingo/ singers etc.
Was reasonably priced also
Disliked WiFi wasn’t great where we were pitched but closer to reception/ bar it worked better. And really it’s quite nice to be forced not to sit on your phone!!
