Liked Beautiful well kept site with a variety of pitches, pods and glamping tents. Peaceful and quiet. Excellent site shop. All public area toilets, washing areas, showers etc very good condition and quality. The standard pod areas are lovely with own water supply, good quality picnic bench and fire fit. Electricity, heating and tv inside if needed

Disliked After booking and paying via Pitchup received an email from Deers Glade requesting £100 security deposit. Whilst this is not unusual we did not like that payment was instantly taken and will be on my credit card until refunded up to 10 days after check out. Most places simply hold your card details in the event of a charge being needed for damage.

Liked Great size tent ready when we arrived, friendly welcome. Peaceful site, great location minutes away from fantastic beach. Some local amenities few minutes drive away if you wanted food and drink and provisions.

Liked Communication on check in details was clear and easy, accommodation beautiful and comfortable. The site is peaceful and relaxing. A small issue with the hot tub was dealt with very quickly and efficiently which was greatly appreciated. Washing up area good with freezer space if needed. The 2pm check in time is generous and makes your time on site even more enjoyable.

Disliked Personally the quilt on the bed in Winnie was too thick and hot for the summer months.

Liked The site is beautifully kept, immaculate grounds and great showers, toilets, washing up areas etc. plenty of fridge and freezer space for everyone’s use. A really enjoyable site if you’re looking for a peaceful get away from it all stay. Loved the trees giving shade when the temperatures rose and the morning parade of half a dozen guineafowl walking past my tent. Highly recommend and will definitely return

Liked Beautifully peaceful site with lovely views across the lake and fields. Winnie cabin was the height of luxury glamping with everything provided (only need to bring towels). The welcome on arrival was friendly and helpful, showing us how to operate the hot tub and the layout and facilities on site. The cooked breakfast we ordered on arrival was a nice touch and meant we had more time to relax in the morning before checkout. Our second visit and it definitely won’t be the last

Disliked The duvet was too hot and thick for our personal preference, maybe now in the summer months a cooler one could be provided?

Liked The bell tent on the platform was fun and gave wonderful views. On the hottest day of the year the cool breeze shaded by the trees was perfect. The camping mats provided under the tent ground sheet were surprisingly comfortable. The outside chair and table good quality and saves having to take own chairs.A very quiet site perfect for a night or two away from every day life. Don’t he put off by the drive through the units to get to the site. Toilets and showers clean and spacious. A friendly pre arrival phone call from the host was welcomed.

Disliked The trip down the ladder and across the field in the middle of the night for the loo

Liked Everything you could want and wish for was provided. Just turn up and enjoy the cosy luxury feel of these domes. Customer service and communication from booking to arrival was first class. The domes are so much more spacious inside than they appear outside. We had awful weather for our weekend but the domes were so well equipped, comfortable and cosy we didn’t mind. To sit in the dome sipping wine watching the thunder and lightning storm outside through the vast windows with the log burning going was special. The local pizza shop even delivered to the farm which was great as we had planned a bbq using the outdoor kitchen and entertaining area, but torrential rain stopped play. Highly recommend this site and these domes

Liked We love this campsite. Owners and staff very helphul and friendly and beautiful layout with stunning tree views and close proximity to the forest. Our first time in a deluxe pod and we found the addition of the fridge very useful allowing more scope for meal planning over the weekend. The position of the deluxe pods give them all day sunshine unlike the regular pods in the woods or around the pond. toilet, shower and washing up facilities very good and well managed during these difficult covid restriction times. Can't wait to come back again.

Disliked We found the futon bed too hard and creaky so pulled the mattress off onto the floor and had a good nights sleep. Missed the large picnic table. canopy and brick bbq area the standard pods offer.

Liked Park Farm has a good combination of tent pitches, caravans and pre erected equipped tents. Small and friendly and nicely spaced out. The bell tents are great for those that want the feel of camping but a bit of luxury in terms of space and a bed. We took all our usual camping equipment such as cooker, chairs, tables and used them but there is no need as everything is provided for you if you don't have it or don't want to pack it. The camping tent/hut is great and we especially appreciated the fridge facility. Shower and toilet block is efficient and clean. The owners and management were very welcoming and friendly and managed these Covid times very well with the new restrictions in place. Will definitely be back again,

Disliked Unable to connect to the Wi-Fi but this is not a deal breaker for us when camping

Liked Small spacious and friendly site. Lots of lovely additional extras such as the lounge area, shop, communal seating area, animals and Saturday night homemade pizza service. Our Glamping tent was beautifully equipped and very spacious. The site appears to have excellent drainage as even after several prolonged and heavy downpours no boggy muddy areas appeared. Hosts Emma and Andy were attentive and couldn't do enough to make sure we had everything we needed.

Disliked The shower and toilet area could do with a bit of a revamp and extension. Spotlessly clean throughout and very efficient shower, however I think in the height of season I can see this area getting very congested. Also the bushes around the entrances host a huge amount of flies and could do with trimming back a bit.

The innocent hover flies seem to really like these bushes for some reason, but there are far fewer of them now. We do plan on updating and expanding the toilet block later in the year. Thanks again.
