Callander, Stirlingshire, Scotland
Electric optional hardstanding motorhome pitch (large)
Liked - Excellent value for money
- clean facilities
- lovely staff
- great as a stopover before getting ferry to Isle of Mull
- able to handle a last minute booking
- lovely walk round the lake
- nice day spent in Callender, nearby town.
Disliked - as by waterside, expect lots of tiny flies on a still night! They weren’t biters but lots of them. We just kept doors shut and stayed in the van.
- rather bumpy road on approach, may not have noticed so much in a more modern vehicle.
- more than one shower would be nice but I understand it is only a stopover spot and so even one shower is an advantage to most.

Emma's Glade non-electric grass campervan or tent pitch (no pets, wild)
Liked Lovely site, great location for Bournemouth. Lovely clean, warm bathrooms. Nice little bar and visiting pizza van made for a super simple evening meal. Friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely be back.
Disliked Getting on and off main road is a little tricky as it is a fast road. However, suitable gap does appear eventually!

Saxmundham, Suffolk, England
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Quiet site. Friendly campers. Roomy, clean facilities. Great location to visit Walberswick, Thorpeness and Aldeburgh- all stunning. Good price. Roomy level pitches.
Lovely large picnic bench, this meant we could cook and eat outside of the van in hot weather.
Don’t let the external appearance of the facilities fool you, they are not plush but well maintained, roomy and clean.
Disliked Nothing.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Relaxed atmosphere, interesting to have the animals there. Lovely friendly families with children who were having a great time and behaving beautifully. Fire pit hire available.
Disliked Bathrooms were a little damp and musty, but clean and ok to use. Would still go again.

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Good clean, spacious bathroom and other facilities. Although large it was a quiet site. Great views, plenty of space for kids to play. Pizza Bus and bar which did not disturb the site.
Disliked Very steep hill from the beach to walk up. Fine for us, may not be suitable for all. Advertising said WiFi, but was £5/day, would have used if weather was bad.
