Liked The welcome was fantastic, Anita very helpful even though I was probably a pain! I had booked a gravel pitch, then changed it for a grass pitch!! Then my cable was too short, and Anita went to get a longer one - very helpful.

Liked big site close to pub and sea, nice walks

Disliked Owner constantly asking us to put our very controlled dog on a lead, when other dogs were allowed to run around at their lesiure!! wont go again.

From the manager: Hi David, Thankyou for your review, which as the owner (Sue and Gary are the Wardens) I find very disappointing and unfair. You persistently broke our rule of not allowing dogs off leads while on the campsite, so unfortunately you had to be told all the time to put the dog back on a lead. We love dogs at Sandparks and there are so many walks right on the doorstep where you can let your dog off a lead and enjoy the beautiful countryside and beaches. Rules are in place for a reason and just because you think your dog is controlled , other campers do not know this, especially children, who may not like dogs and encounter one off its lead. We make no apology for constantly asking you to put it back on a lead as we do with all other campers who do this. We hope you can find other sites where dogs roaming free is allowed and where persistent rule breaking is tolerated. James

Liked The site is well laid out and service points sensibly located. Dog walking area best yet in three years of doing this! Rebooked for a day in August.
