Lovely scenery, electric pitch was set up well, nice additional football goal in the field.

To start with, the lady on reception was quite rude and unhelpful. We were given our pitch number but no additional information about any of the facilities. The photos on the website need updating as they make everything look brand new, but in reality the place it quite run down. The shower blocks rarely get cleaned, the showers rarely have hot water, the shower curtains are very dirty etc. The shower block is also a very long walk away from the field we were in, and we had to walk through the forest to get to the shower block. There were lights in the trees, which we assumed would be put on at night time so we could see but they were not.

The site was very spacious and staff were friendly and helpful, facilities were clean.

The only thing I disliked was the fact there was only 2 nights over the week were they had any form of entertainment, just felt a bit flat on the other days. But not a major issue

The kids play park and crazy golf are really good here. The kids loved the walk around the pond with trim trail all the way around. Lovely bar and restaurant and a well looked after site.

The bathroom blocks could do with more regular cleans and checks during the morning and evening. No toilet paper in any of the bathrooms on one morning and water everywhere from the really splashy taps. Disappointed to have returned for a second visit to find no adjustments to this issue, you need to run all of the taps at the same time to reduce the pressure enough to wash your hands without soaking yourself or the floor. Many people using the washing up area for hand washing and teeth brushing for this reason. The toilets and showers are very good on the whole.

Campsite is absolutely amazing great facilities great activities friendly people everyone willing to help each other what a little gem, will definitely be returning. They have axe throwing off roading soft play and much more the staff extremely helpful and friendly nice clean and tidy camp site food is good too.

No hot water. Cold showers and cold washing up all weekend - expect better

The facilities on site are great for older and younger children, the activities are great for keeping the kids entertained in between playing on the fields and sitting around camp. The bathroom facilities were really good too, always clean and nice hot showers in the ladies bathroom, the mens hot water was hit and miss most days. Great washing up facilities too. The bar/restaurant area was nice to visit in the evenings and we had live music on Friday and Saturday night. The electric points on the tent pitch were nice and close by too and our 15m cable was more than long enough. All the staff were nice and friendly too.

Not really a dislike, but found it odd that you had to book the activities in advance, although we've not been to a campsite before with activities. The quad biking unfortunately was not on the weekend we camped and most of the activities seem to take place mid week, but we camped a long weekend.

Lovely clean site. Staff very friendly and accommodating this was my second visit and I will be booking another shortly 😊
