Pitch ok appart from electric kept tripping out. Had heating on 1k with gas to keep van warm. Hot water on gas Tv on 12 volt

Toilet block putting it bluntly bloody cold so glad we have a good shower in the van. Elsa disposal point disgusting! Stunk as soon as you open in it was full of water no way of ensuring excrement gone. Never seen one like that even on a CL! Road up to site full of potholes. Only 1 toilet block dread to think what it is like in the Summer

Very peaceful location. I would imagine the spring and the summer period would be a great escape for children with the various activities on offer. I hope to bring my grandson in the summer to enjoy the activities.

The chemical toilet waste point is not brilliant. The water level was just below the manhole cover which is not ideal to avoid splashing. To be fair this could be down to the amount of rainfall.

Spacious pitches and only a view of them so whole site didn’t feel restricted. Didn’t explore site but was more pitches on other fields. Very quiet but we went out of season, could imagine it being busy at peak. All positive.

Could do with a shop. Bar could have stayed open later but again we visited out of season so the may stay open later during peak season. Toilet and shower blocks was clean, shower was good until someone used the one next door and pressure drastically reduced. Some one had also left a few deposits in the toilets and they wouldn’t flush, so only one toilet was available.

The cafe is the best great food Cafe

It was very quiet site. Toilets and showers were very clean.

Our hard standing pitch had been tagged onto the end as an after thought and not been set up like the others. During the first night the electric went off as it was any extension lead used which had got full of water. It needs a proper electric box installed if going to continue to be used.
There are only 2 washing up sinks which is not enough for the amount of camping there is and these had not been cleaned.
Couldn’t find where to drain our grey waste into from the motorhome and reception was closed on the Sunday we left so couldn’t ask.

Lovely hot showers and water for washing dishes despite freezing conditions.
Friendly staff in the Bistro/soft play when we realised we didn’t have a lighter to cook! A lighter donated to us!

Staff in the cafe area were friendly, pitches were flat and large in size. Pizza area looked very nice, although everything was either shut or shutting at 4:45pm

Campsites seems like a bit of an afterthought, facilities seem to be there for the safari tents but they are away from the main campsite if your staying open through the winter, at least have some kind of heating in the showers and clean them, as they were freezing once you stepped out of the shower, the shower itself was warm.. mouldy ceilings, cracked windows and dirty loos were not the best advert..
