The location close to coastal path

Really lovely place - great for relaxing. Andrew the owner is really lovely and helped us with local knowledge. I would definitely come back.

The site is really well situated close to Little Haven and Broad Haven and not too far from Haverfordwest for a larger supermarket. My sat nav took me straight to the gate and from there I just followed the road down then called the owner to confirm that it was pick your own pitch.

The owner was really friendly, checking that I had everything I needed. He collects and drops off ice packs which is handy. The toilets and shower were always clean and the shower was big enough to shower myself and my two young children so that was a win.

Not a dislike as such but just to note that if you’re an adult by yourself that you access the site by opening and closing two gates. So I had to keep hopping in and out of the car on the approach. As a few reviewers have mentioned the drive up is a little run down with old buildings (believe it was used as a old army base) but the site itself is so friendly so don’t let that put you off.

Perhaps one larger welcome sign once you’re into the main area to point out the fields would be handy as I couldn’t work out where the second camping field was at first. But this is just being super picky as we would return in a heart beat.

Andrew, the owner, is wonderful and really makes this campsite special. Andrew would come round a couple of times a day to check everything is OK, and is always up for a chat. We got some great pointers for local towns and beaches that ended up being highlights of the trip.

The campsite itself had a small toilet & shower block which was kept very clean. I understand Andrew is trying to expand this - fortunately the campsite was not busy while we there, and we didn't have to wait for the facilities a single time. There were a couple of large tables and picnic benches for us to use for cooking and eating, and Andrew even offered to bring a picnic table to our tent.

The location is remote - great for stargazing, but best to come prepared with everything you need for a couple of days. We walked down to the local town, Little Haven, each day. This can be done by road (only a few cars, usually) or along the coast for the second half with great views along the way.

Further out, there were plenty of great beaches and towns to keep us occupied on our three-night trip, and we left wanting to come straight back!

The showers and toilet facilities were lovely & clean. The proprietor Andy was very helpful with local knowledge & supplying logs etc and local knowledge.

Approach is a bit sad and rundown

Brilliant little site close to the coast, quite basic but we loved it and had the best time out of the 4 campsites we stayed in total.
Andy was a great host, a gent.
