Route directions

From downtown Tamarindo, drive east towards the Banco National building. When you see the bank on your left, keep driving in the same direction for several blocks until you see the Dreamsea sign at the end of the road. Then just follow the signs for about a kilometre, taking three turns to the left. Alternatively, once you arrive in downtown Tamarindo, just call the site using the contact details on the booking form and they will provide a shuttle to pick you up.

Local attractions

Catch the shuttle straight from Dreamsea to get to four fine Costa Rica surfing beaches within a couple of kilometres: the Guanacaste region's Tamarindo, Langosta, Avellanas and Grande, and their waves for beginners and the advanced. Tamarindo town is one of the top spots in Costa Rica for surfing, along with other watersports like snorkelling, scuba diving, paddleboarding and windsurfing. It's also a big and lively party town (huzzah), so leave time at the end of your surf day for dinner and drinks in the Tamarindo restaurants and bars. Ziplining, horse riding, ATV driving and river tubing are all popular picks too in the jungle around Dreamsea and on Costa Rica's surrounding north peninsula. If you're in the country to wildlife watch (and you should be: Costa Rica has more national parks and protected wildlife areas than anywhere else in the world), head north to the Las Baulas National Park, to see the famed sight of leatherback turtles coming ashore to lay eggs from October to February.
