What customers say
This neat, tranquil spot offers generous, flat pitches and top-notch, spotless ablutions, with hot, strong showers getting a special mention. Simon, the host, is consistently lauded as welcoming and helpful. Great location for exploring the Botanic Gardens and castles, with pretty country views. A bit of road noise and busy facilities when packed are minor drawbacks. Many guests keen to return.

Welcoming host
Electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Welcoming host - Simon. Met us on arrival, gave us a tour and explained housekeeping. Clean showers and toilets. A smaller site, but spacious pitches - just how we like it - no overcrowding and not busy/loud. Very peaceful. Only stayed the night, as had the weekend off work - but looking to book again for a longer stay. Close to Llandeilo and Carmarthen and we are looking forward to returning to be closer to one of our favourite beaches - Llansteffan.

Electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Couldn't wish for a more friendly, helpful host (Simon); nothing too much trouble. Good to be greeted on arrival. Pitches good size and level, all with hookup (only pay for the electricity you use). Compact, well kept site. Toilets and free hot showers very clean. Situated in lovely countryside and really close to Botanic Gardens of Wales.
Disliked Not much to dislike ...Next to a road but traffic noise not really a problem. Limited number of toilets and showers but again not really a problem (decor a bit dated though)

Simon also gives you a welcome pack on arrival, the information is so useful.
The showers are stunning! The pressure the cleanliness and the fact you can put a heater on when you get in them.

Liked We had another lovely stay at this well kept ,quiet site with a wonderful outlook of the countryside and cows next door . The toilets and showers were spotless, one of the best we’ve come across. Simon the warden was very helpful and pleasant. Lots to see and do from this secluded base in the Towy Valley.

Lovely site in the Welsh countryside
Electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Large, flat pitches - well spaced out and maintained
Stunning countryside views
Hot, powerful showers
Clean and tidy site
Host was very welcoming
Reasonably priced
Disliked Having to keep pressing the button for the shower
Site is located alongside a main road which can generate traffic noise, not that you take any notice as the birdsong drowns it out

From the manager: Thank you for your comments ,I recall you were very new to caravaning and as explained to yourselves we have the longest time duration shower buttons available at the moment , to offset this we have powerful water pressure as you noticed in your review. Shower buttons or paid timers are the norm on campsites to enable the next person to enjoy a hot shower also . Good luck with your new purchase ,kindest regards. Simon
