Electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch

Liked From when we arrived to when we left we had a good experience. Marta was there to welcome us, providing us with information for the site and surrounding area., nothing was to much trouble. The site was very clean, fabulous shower and toilet facilities, cleaning area and designated waste area all clearly labelled. The pitch had plenty of space around it, wrapped by mountain views. Also very peaceful. We will 100% be staying again

Electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch

Liked The site was a lovely little site and the camp manager was so attentive, checking in with us everyday making sure we were ok especially with the heat over the past week. The amenities were well cared for and looked after, being cleaned every morning and refilled. Good size pitches allowing a lot of room from number to number. Will definitely be returning.

Disliked Nothing.

Mentioned that WiFi is coming next year but always had good signal throughout our time here.

More than exceeded expectations. Would absolutely return.

Electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch

Liked Absolutely love this site and have stayed here 3 times in 2 months... it's that good.

Fantastic location, very peaceful, stunning views and great facilities.

Everything is kept spotlessly clean by the wonderful warden Marta, who works tirelessly and deals with any issues (not that there are many) promptly and effectively. Be nice to her or I'll come after you!

No long lists of rules, just the important ones (park according to the fire regs, no cricket balls, don't be a noisy tw*t after 10pm etc), it's easy to relax and enjoy the wonderful views from your pitch.

The showers are particularly good for a campsite - the ability to set the temperature you want (from very hot to properly cold) is so much better than a fixed (usually way too hot for me) temperature, none of that push button business and plenty of space and hooks.

Go there. Just don't steal my favourite pitch.

Would happily stay here again.

Electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch

Liked Spacious site with very clean facilities. It was quiet when we turned up, and even though more campers arrived during the week, we never felt like we were crammed next to anyone. The toilets and showers were lovely, too.
Was very easy to find our pitch from the on site map with our name on, and we were greeted while setting everything up. Everyone we spoke to from the site was very helpful and friendly.

We’ll be back!

Local attractions

As you'll know if you've ever had the sense to go there, the Llŷn Peninsula is lovely land, with sea all around as it jabs 30 miles into the Irish Sea from north-west Wales's tip. Rhos Y Foel is in an excellent setting to get to the best of its hills and coast in the site surrounds, and to explore the mountains and other highlights of Snowdonia a short drive away. Around the peninsula, have seaside days at resorts like Abersoch, Nefyn, Morfa Nefyn and Pwllheli, all just a few miles away, or get active with afternoons among the wakeboarding, bowling, quad biking, go karting and fishing of Glasfryn Parc nearby at Pwllheli; soft play, food, a farm shop and a bar are at this latter as well. Paintball is nearby if you want to take things up a notch. Another top local option for families is the award-winning GreenWood Forest Park, where you can paddle among trees, make things work at the world's only people-powered rollercoaster, see a live show, meet the animals or try den building and archery. More animal meeting is at Dwyfor Rabbit Farm, or drive to the foot of Snowdonia for a more active family day out at Gypsy Wood. The famed 18-hole Nefyn & District Golf Club at Porthdinllaen is only a few minutes from the site.
