Peaceful, wild camping for adults with great views. Owners Jane & Ian are super welcoming. Facilities are clean & top-notch. Very dog-friendly with a secure field. Love the sunset shack & fire pits! Some pitches can be noisy or steep, but most would return.

Mavis tipi

Liked This is a wonderful campsite. We stayed in the Mavis tipi which was perfectly kitted out. The plot was secluded and faced out onto the river and fields. The campsite had a great rural and meandering feel to it with each plot in its own little glade. The facilities at the top were great with places to sit and chill. The hospitality was the best though. Ian and Jane were so kind and helpful, helping us out when we got a hiking injury and offering to help with our luggage. Definitely want to return and spend a little more time there.

Mary yurt

Liked We stayed in a lovely, cosy yurt that was thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials. The setting is beautiful, and the owners were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Their homemade pizzas are a must-try – we’d definitely recommend them! All in all, a wonderful experience and we’d happily stay again.

Disliked Some road noise from the site

Non-electric grass tent pitch (wild)

Liked Great communication with the owners - helped us out a lot and made us feel very welcome! Perfect peaceful campsite with lovely views. Only stayed here the one night so didn't make use of all the facilities but really enjoyed our stay. Our pitch was spacious and felt super private and the toilets were as clean as they could be in the wild!

Dafyyd non-electric grass and earth tent pitch

Liked Absolutely everything was fantastic. What a beautiful, rustic, quirky little site. Gorgeous view, relaxed atmosphere, lovely walks, the river running through to name but a few of the highlights.
The owners are really lovely and welcoming and their attention to detail very impressive. The toilets/showers and kitchenette all spotlessly clean and the sunset shack to die for with sofas, all day sunshine and gorgeous views. Add all of this to the fact you can take your dog/s and the package is special.
We camped on Daffyd which had all day sun, outside firepit and lovely views of the countryside.
If you don't fancy camping then try the yurt or tips, all with outdoor, private space with firepits. The yurt interior looks gorgeous.
I highly recommend you try this little haven we will certainly be back. Thank you again both.

Disliked The walk to the shop is a little difficult with no pavements, but doable.
